If you really look at the EAGLES, all the running backs in the last few years have had awesome seasons with the EAGLES offensive LINE........CHECK THE STATS.......THE DEFENCE HAS BEEN BUILT .... About the AJ and Jalen situation, it was never as bad as media made it. AJ and Jalen have been friends since highschool. Jalen is AJ’s daughter’s godfather. They’re good at having tough conversations with each other so a game wasn’t going to break up that relationship. I’ll come back to that tho. Hurts was playing with that glove + sleeve bc his finger is still broken and wrapped/casted. Ik his hands hurt how hard TJ was hitting him but even one handed peep that Hurts holds onto the ball 6:06 even tho he didn’t see TJ. The “drama” been addressed but the media made it seem 10 times worse. They don’t push BG apologizing and admitting he wrongly spoke on a situation that he had bad info about but they push where he spoke on the info he was given. They push the “passing” comment interview but not AJ full explanation on what he considers goes into “passing” as a team, why he said “passing”, or even when he said that he was irritated bc he felt they didn’t perform as well as they felt they could have bc he knows what they are capable of. You kinda gotta look at it from his perspective. He was thinking about how before when they had a record this and shiii went downhill. He just doesn’t want that to happen. Media gives no time to talk to other teammates and cool down. Lots of players play in a different mind frame. You are one person on the field, and another off. A lot of this is players who play off of their trauma they’ve experienced. It’s what pushes them and sometimes media like to take advantage of their trauma responses. This tends to be when you see the angry players. Trauma, depression, and anxiety typically comes out as anger in men. It’s just the brains chemistry. Not always but typically. This makes sense in AJ’s case especially when he explained he was thinking about before and he doesn’t want this group of guys to go through that. They also cut out AJ and Hurts celebration. After this game in the post game interviews he was asked about it and AJ said it was their way of telling the media to “shut up” and this game was a statement game. Like Hurts has said before “just because we don’t doesn’t mean we can’t”. A mic caught AJ saying something about playing “catch up” and “next week” but it’s unclear if he was saying that this game was catch up, next week they’ll be playing catch up(the player he was talking to said something about not getting any rushing(they were laughing mad hard so it wasn’t someone actually upset)), or a completely different situation. Hard to tell but Kelsey said on air that he was proud of them for shutting up the media but now he wants them to give the ball back to Barkley bc he wants Saquon to break the #1 record in most rushing yards in one season which he is in second place and this game threw him off course to break it. Unclear how Saquon felt about it but his name was also starting to be brought into the media drama so I’m sure he’s thankful that’s shut down but on multiple micd up episodes Saquon says he doesn’t care how they win as long as they win but I can imagine he’d be disappointed coming so close and not making it but then again Saquon is always a positive guy and would probably just be grateful for coming close. He broke Shady McCoy’s record which Shady showed mad love n support n told Saquon to keep fighting for #1 in NFL
