The first song I tried was disposable heroes when I got my first guitar, could've just played sanitarium or sandman but nope my brain really wants to play this song and just this song
Can you do the riff from Orion that come before the first solo? The riff that goes from A, to E to B power chords then reversed with a ton of muted notes in between.
I argued the toss with someone once that he only down picked this part and im like dude i know het is the man but not even he could pull of superhuman downpicking like this its impossible without ur arm falling off
One question, if you were to think of one two three four five Pantera songs maybe hollow was probably their most gallopy wouldn't ewe you agree lala raza
Is that gallopy riff also used in The Four Horsemen? The riff that imitates horse's galloping to come get you? 😊 I've always been curious how they did that. Thanks, Matt. You rock!
This section of the song is percussive guitar brutality. Hey bro I have a question, have you experienced any elbow pain due to guitar playing ? It's something I've been dealing with and thought I'd ask.
I'm pretty sure you like Blackstar amps, Gotta check again though
I think so yeah go back have another look
fight fire with fire the second riff
Ben Eller has a really good video teaching that riff
Jakob1997 Ben eller is such a good teacher I’ve learned so much from him
Yeah that parts real simple once you get it going the speed it needs to be
They're all gallopyyyy
Nice breakdown.. it’s the C#5 thing which comes after this which always gets me!! Great song for endurance!

Your hand in the thumbnail looked epic!! Nicely explained brother!! One of the first riffs I ever learned, always loved it!
Great guitar! Great lesson! All of your lessons are the most accurate. Keep it up man!
Thanks a lot mate, I knew something wasn't right. I was playing 3 down picks instead of 4
Thanks for posting this! I usually play this to a slowly (ive only played a few months) metronome to work on my pick control. Love this bit
Awesome video my man! Can you make a video on how to play Cyanide? That’s my favorite song off Death Magnetic.

Do you have the same "RIFF" tatoo on your fingers as james hetfield? That's badass!
What r ur settings mate? I’ve got a majesty and a mark 5 and I can’t get it to sound as chunky as you got it here. Any advice?
Settings have changed since but usually loads of bottom end! Always!
You the best

Would you please do the chuggy riff behind Kirky's solo in Blackened? 😍
What guitar is that?
A cool one it seems :) Also, would you like to hear my song, it is full of down picked riffs?
