How have I missed this one? There's a framed scene on my wall of a tree house in a forest near a teeming river. This is very often my go-to place when I meditate. It's where I would like to come back to in my next life. Really enjoyed sharing it with my soul mate on this beautiful journey. It was wondrous, thank you 💜
I just caught myself hoping I'd wake in the nighr, so I'd get to listen to the rest of this, as I'm falling asleep within the first minute! What a blessing to feel so taken care of by your enchanting story Michelle, that I have desire instead of fear around waking in the night !!!
Me three! This sleepstory I’ve listened to before, and it generally reminds me of my backyard treehouse Joe B. and me built when we were 11 (didn’t meet Joe T. until I was 17). It started with one level but slowly we build higher up to include second and third levels. A lot of the wood was repurposed, some choice pieces bought, and a few pieces stolen. Man, was it fun to escape there! The tree was actually like four trees (maybe it was planted that way) at the bottom all its trunks were jammed together like one tree growing from the ground; each trunk bent away from the other ones as they climbed up to its height then of about 35’. We called it a black cherry tree, some called it a wild cherry. Both we, the birds, and squirrels nourished ourselves on those tart and sweet berries every summer. I remember tearing it all down when I was about 16, more concerned over girls, and cars, and sports by then. 🕊️💕
