Apologies if you don't understand English but I don't speak any Dutch :) I have a Dutch barge in Ireland and I need to do a LOT of work on her. She has a riveted hull so I am curious to know how you used bolts instead of rivets (time 7:11) or are these just temporary? I need to replace lots of rusted metal so seeing how much work you have done demotivates me, given your amazing skills :)
Gelukkig is er Google Translate! De bout verbinding heb ik gebruikt om alles tijdelijk aan elkaar te zetten. Tijdens het aflassen de bouten 1 voor 1 verwijderd en het gat dichtgelast. Overigens, gesteld dat je alles zou gaan klinknagelen heb je nog meer gaten nodig. In jouw geval vind ik wel dat als bij voorbaat al begint met woorden als 'demotiverend' je een verkeerde start maakt. Investeer in een goed lasapparaat en begin met iets kleins. Heel belangrijk: vier alle succesmomenten!

I already started translating every one of your comments in your videos one by one using Google Translate (like the rivet welding process...one by one :)) . Absolutely fantastic work and I will use this as my bench-mark for my own Klipper. I continuously pause your videos to study your set-ups, such as your clamping methods for welding pieces. Thanks again for documenting all of this!

@@wilfredhuijser7802 Hi Wilfred, I have uploaded a short video. As you can see, there's a lot of rust especially around the crew's quarters. The boat is on a tidal mooring so getting access to the hull will require me to construct a temporary dry dock and float her onto it at high tide.
