The most powerful thing in the scene isn't Jack & Rose's meeting but seeing the all passengers together, regardless their social class condition. FLAWLESS!
it's a masterpiece as every small detail is weaved to perfection, crew opening the door for her, helga beside fabrizzio, trudy her personal assistant looking at her, cora cutely waving hi. Mr Astor like a father the last she see while walking as if bride to meet his groom at wedding the Captain last to clap because he should be always last of the ship, fading in to white as if in heaven all is possible and many other details at the iconic grand staircase Oh,,, PURE PERFECTION.
roelofjan1987 I swear I cried at the end of this movie. I cried when Jack died and that s.o.b. fiance didn't. I still have the movie on VHS. Lol. But unfortunately my VCR has died so I'm going to have to upgrade. Gosh, I feel so old and left behind. 😀😀😀
dmravi13 then why didnt the last funnel of the Titanic emit steam?? It's common knowledge that the last funnel wasn't connected to any boiler and was a complete fake, it was put there to make Titanic look bigger
Frankie Theoret The last funnel of the Titanic did emit some steam. Although it was not connected to any boiler, it was used as an exhaustor of the Titanic's big galley (kitchen), so it emited some steam, although not as much as the other three, which were directly connected to the boilers.
I went to theaters last month to see Titanic with my soulmate. It was our way of celebrating Valentine’s Day. We saw it in 4K 3D and let me tell you…watching it like that was like seeing the film for the very first time. It was a romantic and unforgettable night. Watching Titanic with an audience truly amplifies the emotions. We were all strangers crying together and it was so surreal. Everyone applauded when Jack and Rose kissed. And nearly everyone stayed for the end credits, and many people sang along to the song - including us, haha. Best film ever ❤️
Oh my God, I am literally in tears now. That was absolutely beautiful. Especially the choir at 1:56 😭. This scene and score unlocks so many emotions I didn’t even know I had. Titanic is the best film ever made ❤️
For the appreciation for any film... The Claps speaks a Thousand Words.. But The Tears speaks a Million. Thank You, Mr. Cameron. And Love You, Mr. Horner.
@@jenw5557 - Jim Cameron in the late 80s to mid 90s was untouchable when it came to pacing. Aliens didn't even introduce the main enemies for an hour-plus into the film, and still moved at a quick pace. It's also why the theatrical cuts of T2 and Aliens are the preferred versions, IMO.
This scene is so beautiful. Fabrizo and Jack's other friend was there. As well as the band members who died playing music on the ship... and Andrews. 😢😢😢😢 And Jack!
ForeverSweetx3 everyone was there who died on the ship. I think rose went here cause she has survivor guilt and thought she should have gone down with the shio
YamiAlex224 No she died in her sleep at the end of the movie, It’s why everybody who died that night was there and Cal and her mother weren’t, it’s also why the clock on the wall is paused on the exact time the titanic sank, and jack had been waiting for her to join him in the afterlife😭
did anyone else realize the scene when jack gave the note to rose saying "meet me by the clock" is accomplished here and when he told rose "so you want to go to a real party" is also accomplished here because rose is going to a party in heaven. The clock behind him reads the same time titanic sank and the flying scene when jack told rose "give me your hand" is also accomplished here at 1:43, the captain is the last person to clap
Unbelievable ... I'm not so lucky to be at such a concert ... what excitement, a real soul orgasm ... and the audience ... you can see how it feels ... they cry ... amazing ...
Cameron could've ended the film with only Rose and Jack. Rose could've glided back onto the ship and seen Jack alone on the bow waiting for her. But this film isn't just about them. It's about the tragic loss of those 1500 precious souls, so the finale also includes everyone else who died, waiting for the last survivor to return and join them. That's fantastic in and of itself, but even more so when you consider Rose, essentially the main character of the film: Jack wasn't the only person she lost on the ship. Fabrizio, Tommy, Helga, Cora, and all the 3rd class who lost their lives were the first people besides Jack to treat Rose with respect; she fit in with them in a way she never did with the 1st class people and they were her first real friends. And Mr. Andrews was more of a parent to her than Ruth ever was. This ending perfectly sums up the theme of loss in the film, as Rose reunites with not only her soulmate, but all the people who introduced her to a new world, everyone whom she has to thank for the long, full, free life that she lived after she lost them.
This is single handedly THE MOST SUCCESSFUL movie which was accepted all across the globe and crossed all possible language boundaries.... imagine the amount of money it made that time!!!!!!!!! Avengers and Avatar still can't beat the acceptance this movie had
