yaaa thank you for sharing. i think the way you do your journals is great. how you leave the pagers in the book and then make and alter for book. instead of cutting them out then sewing in other pages. looking great.

I bet other's think that they're lovely, Samantha, and wish they were able to make one. My late Mum used to say something similar and I still have a shoe box she glued pretty pictures on. Even though it isn't well executed, it is so her and I love it. She was always praising me, sometimes unwarranted, but would downplay her own efforts. Towards the end of her life, I had the opportunity to remind her that what she was praising me for was the result of what I had learned from her as a very young child - prior to youtube: it gave her the biggest thrill. At least you've made a start and you can only get better. 'Practice makes perfect,' as they say.

I took it with me to open it with Mum on a hospital visit & she told anyone & everyone that I'd received an award. LOL. What colour is red? I tried but I couldn't find anywhere to hide. She was such a sweetie and has left me with much to laugh about: a person from less complicated times. By the way, I was watching the TV last night & produced some 'kindergarten art' too but I had fun. x
Just watched this awesome video....thank you... may i ask howmany bookpages do you tear out between the 2 pages you glued together ? and do zou gesso zour pages before working on them?.......i would love to try a junk journal like that...,,this os so beautiful!..love the pocket...
Hi thanks for watching if it's a book with a small spine I just stick to ripping out 2 between (save 1 rip 2 save 1 ) but if it's a wide spine I rip out as many as 6 never more and no I don't gesso the pages just work on them as they are Go for it you'll have a lot of fun just remember to pick a book with pages not stitched in but stuck to the spine :)

Hi, how many pages was the book? I have seen people use books and I have tried to do this but it doesn't seem to work with me. So I am wondering is it because my books have too many pages. Like one of them has 750 . Is that too many? Thank you.
Lovely book & a great tutorial! However, I don't think I would glue down quite so much of the pocket if I were giving it to someone else as they may want to put something larger inside the pocket rather than the two small tags you've made. 'Not criticizing.... just giving another side to it!

Hi Despina I tend to do books up to 450 pages and then thin then out I haven't tried larger ones I get to impatient to make them up
