Okay so for context as to why I am re-uploading these cutscenes, I was simply not satisfied with the original uploads. Back when I recorded the original footage, I used to have a much weaker PC. My PC had to rely on an Intel processor in order to process stuff, and it was too weak to handle 1080p 60FPS. Despite this I had the desire to create the highest quality possible, which in hindsight was a dumb move. Another dumb move was not rendering the videos properly, not adjusting the Computer RGB to Studio RGB correctly, producing that washed out look. My computer however is now a lot more powerful, notably it now relies on a GTX 1080 Ti, far more powerful than the Intel processor. I also switched recording methods, using OBS Studio instead of the default Elgato recording program, with produces more stable results. The only other thing worth mentioning is the upgrade from the Elgato HD60 to Elgato HD60 Pro, though in this case I haven't noticed anything noticeably different that would benefit from features such as the higher Mbps. These reuploads are designed to exploit the changes to my hardware to produce a more stable and clean upload of all the cutscenes from Puyo Puyo Tetris. Please enjoy them.

I feel like with these new improvements, things will only get better, even if minor. (Not to mention, this upgrade to your rig helps it more than you think, in addition to slicing rendering times down 1000000000000fold, it’ll take all that GPU work off your CPU, increasing its longevity by a significant amount) Also, as a quick question, do you think you’ll update your voice comparison video, between the JP spells, and the English spells, since you have both full games? I would like to hear the differences between alt voices and whatnot too, if possible
How do I explain this. Technically speaking Puyo Puyo Tetris does give you the option to turn off music. The catch though is that it only applies to matches, while menus and cutscenes still retain the music. There isn't a slider option either, only the option to turn it off or on. This isn't unique to Puyo Puyo Tetris, other Puyo Puyo games also have this restriction. The only way I could remove music is to hack the game to disable music during cutscenes.

Ringo's VA voices a lot of people in video game and anime dubs, and they kind of sound a bit similar to each other at some points. Examples off the top of my head are: Aoi Asahina (Danganronpa 1), Morgana (Persona 5), Edea Lee (Bravely Default), and I think she voiced the English dub for Taiga in Toradora.
I seriously don't get why does everyone spit on the English dub. It has a great voice acting and actually fits the characters' personalities. I even prefer English Sig over the Japanese one.
I’m 40 minutes into the video I feel like such a dumbass. I only JUST realized that the Tetra crew are named after the shapes of the blocks in Tetris. Their personalities even match the preconceived notions of the blocks. You got the letter I that hides, the L and J shapes that are twins, big fat O shape, the tactical T shape that brings everything together, and last but not least, the obnoxious Z block that no one likes.
It took me the whole game, I always just thought like "Oh if someone was named Dee, there could be the trio of Ess, Tee and Dee." and didn't notice that Ess and Tee were tetris pieces.

i'm glad someone uploaded a video like this. i play Puyo Puyo Tetris on my friend's Nomtendo Switch and went through most of the story. i'm pretty good with Tetris but complete garbage with Puyo. so anything that involved me using Puyo i skipped. i can use this video to see cutscenes i missed from skipping the Puyo part of the story. thanks :D
