About the school uniform IV and test scores, may be suited for developed nations. Where I come from, there was quite a marked separation between the haves and the have nots. I was in the have nots. I used to have 1 new dress per year. If the school were to propose uniform free days, I would be in a state of panic realising that most of my classmates would show off their new dresses every day and I would have to make myself "invisible". This would have forced me to not ask any questions in class. Which would have made me score less. So for me, there was a direct causation for the rule of wearing uniform and gaining better scores or better yet, direct causation of NOT wearing uniform and scoring a bad result. All other variables remaining the same.
So if I throw a ball with full force and if you release a a ball with zero force at the same exact time you are telling me that both balls will fall or meet at the same exact time? Just asking.
He's saying if you hit the ball horizontally and dropped one they'd hit at the same time because they fall the same distance and horizontal travel doesn't effect vertical. It's not completely accurate though. This assumes zero spin and with a bullet the curve of the earth would make the bullet land a fraction of a second later too since it has to fall a an inch or so further.
CS Lewis wrote in Screwtape Letters that the Uncle Screwtape said "It's more of what we hold back." Or something among those lines, imagine if what Chris Grace told you was incomplete without the 3rd variable. Do we feel guilty for not knowing everything and that is why we over think the simplicity of things like that?
I'm so glad I found these videos. Dr. Grace is just amazing and he's probably the funniest professor I've ever seem. Amazing videos!! love them!

I'm hoping Prof. Grace will help convince my son to go to Biola. We would have to move over 1200 miles.
Can you tell me what text they use for students here?
