Honesty I love this game and lore to death but I also acknowledge it’s flaws, baffling they had the audacity to charge full price for this game and had reviewers only review the PC version. And I’ve seen comments saying how surprised they are that vehicle combat and chasing is coming for free like no duh it’s a core gameplay element and should’ve been there from the start there shouldn’t be clarification that it’s even free, either way phantom liberty looks promising and gameplay changes 3 years later is quite sad to say the least I can already tell this isn’t gonna be like that E3 gameplay demo but I know I’ll enjoy it for what it is.

I played this game at release and then shorty after updated to the 1.04 at release. I was pretty disappointed with the movement, I thought it would be smooth animations but just felt like csgo wasd movement lol. But Playing this now with current 1.63 update after like after over 2 years I felt weird because I remembered the game much differently and worse performance but I suppose they have improved everything slightly and it's quite pleasant now. Honestly this is how the game should have been at the very very least at launch and that's not even mentioning core things missing from the game like choices that actually matter apart from ending. Water is horrible but that can and should be fixed. One thing that pisses me off is the the police system. It's so scuffed it's actually unbelievable how shamelessly they launch it in that state... even now it's just stupid and incoherent. Just wish hacking was more in depth. combat; especially in shootouts just has a weird inconsistent pace to it, at that point once everyone knows your location hacking isn't really a useful thing apart from stealth so you just awkwadly move around shootng a batch of enemies with your assault

Well ,cdpr has never been praised for their physics and game engine ,they are quite good with rpg elements, story telling and such ,the reason why their formula worked with the witcher series is because those games take place in the ages of kingdoms which doesnt have futuristic structure like traffic ,cops, organized pedestrians ,their npcs coding isnt really good either ,If you have played the witcher games and notice their flaws ,u will know what I mean

You can see the fire at first example they cant make fire bind with the barrels hence next best solution just turn them off when players interact with it. In gta v when you place you car on fire hydrant not only the water wont clip through car and water is collected on floor but the car suspension is also pushed up due to the water force. That gta example was not programmed manually its just happens because of right physics of water and car. Similarly you should play mafia where police is so human like. They will charge you for minor law breaks and also protect you if you are being attacked. Unlike this game where a police on wants to kill you.
I really want to love this game but its really sad that GTA IV which was release back in 2008 have better physics compared to this game, even after all those patches. If only it can be on the same level as RD2. Plus i really want it to have a 3rd person soooo Bad, but we can only dream. Hope the mods will be much more stable.

Hey, I personally would go back and try this game again if I were you. Fresh install, fresh save, give it a go. You may crash every once and a while but comparative to how it was back in release; it's like a completely different game. I personally blame the fanbase of CDPR for literally blowing their shit because the game was taking a long time to release- so they released it early and people were still mad. Give the game time. At this state, I give it a 10/10- and I crash frequently! But its the price to pay for a game that feels truly lived in, and was released early on behalf of its toxic community.
This is what I was wondering. I'm seeing so much praise but I recall very vividly what I played in 2020. The bugs were the least of my concerns. I'm disappointed that the narrative has keeps going that the bugs and physics were the issue when the main issue was always the lack of emergent gameplay and mechanics. It's fun but nowhere near what they said it would be, even after all these updates.

GTA IV released 16 years ago and is FAR more advanced than GTA V and CyberCrap. CD Projeckt Red just produced more Early Access bland crap, it is not advanced at all, nor was GTA V.
I started playing this week, I don't know if there was a patch to fix the shadows, but i've just tested and they are insanely good. PS.: I use the path tracing and all ray tracing on, not sure if it makes any difference.
Not very many bugs now, but the quality of animations and effects need to be polished. The fire hydrant water sprouting through a metal car for example.

I was astonished when i used water tap in mafia 2 and police not only chase me but will chase npc if they are caught doing something wrong. Here everything is broken with quintillion patchworks thrown on it. I know on my first 2 mission, i will notice something immersion braking and that will be the gg bye for me. One more thing it doesn't matter if this is sandbox, rpg, open world or platformer. Recently in csgo community people were annoyed that there was ladder in a playable zone and you cant climb it. Dev had to remove it. thats a 5v5 shooter. Detailed and accurate representation is essential to any game

bro, the tires are clearly made of rubber with air in it, and even though it is made by still, i dont know, its the tire vs and strong fire weapon, so YES they should get damaged... the game has poor general destruction, unfortunately.

But what i donot trust are the people defending the gameplay...claiming stuff like oh they've fixed everything...Its a perfect game now, its everything CDPR promised all those years ago. But then i see these videos of "updates" and at best they're GTA V level. Even GTA V has better NPC reactions and physics. The only thing going for this game is the graphics. But then again its not beating RDR2 or Ghost of Tsushima or GoW. Also high graphics + average gameplay just doesn't cut it nowadays. Studios like R* and Naughty Dog have set the bar way too high.

I'm currently playing the game to find bugs ...man I got a lot of them...some are way serious...they should have waited a year or so to release phantom liberty. I love the concept of the game but man...they need to devote more time.
Very small cosmetics visual updates after 3 years nothing big and yes still many unrealistic things including AI and environment. Not too big an improvement overall but definitely should be already there 3 years ago.
I don't mind some of the technical glitches but for the love of Zod, fix the damn driving mechanics!!!! Each car handles like a drunk running on an ice skating rink!!!! Every vehicle handles like crap with the exception of certain motocycles!
I have had the PS5 for a while now and I'm happy with it. following the release of the DLC I installed again CP-77 {I have more than 3000 hours of gameplay on Cyber'}; and there I am amazed by the worst that can happen to a game; in my case CP-77 has aged, aged a lot. I thought that was the cause of having played it too much, however with RDR2 I have just as many hours of play. I still play with the same pleasure on RDR2 {this is not the case for Cyberpunk 2007}. I will not buy this DLC; in my case, the CP-77 page is turned, definitely.

Estoy jugando Fallout New Vegas actualmente. Ya te digo yo, incluso sin Bugs, cyberpunk se muere de vergüenza comparado con ese juego. Lo único que Cyberpunk tiene de rpg es ese sistema de niveles absurdo que solo sirve para sacarte de la experiencia y el árbol de habilidades sacado del Skyrim, de resto no hay realmente muchas formas de interactuar con el entorno, hay facciones enteras a las que ni siquiera te puedes unir, ni siquiera realizar misiones secundarias para ellos (como los animales o los maelstorm que solo sirven de antagonistas para algunas misiones) en cambio, en new Vegas todavía no encontré una sola facción con la que no se pueda interactuar
people who say 'this game is good now' have no standards. V1 is complete trash and the current version still is. Yes, better than V1 obviously, but damn. The fact that the player stands still on a moving car lol. the fire on the barrel just slowly dissapears shows how they couldn't actually make it attach to the game object etc... Yeah it just blows my mind how a game company can make a '2.0' version of a game and still have less than 90% of details compared to GTA 5 that came out in 2013... while it calls itself an RPG game...
Still have not reached what we've expected from the game, the physics is garbage, and lacks interaction and immersion, it feels like an unfinished game. It doesn't matter how much the game improved from it's release, it's basically features and technical matters that should've been since day 1. if someone consider it as improvements, it simply shows that the game was even worse than we thought.

gta v was a severely downgraded gta iv in terms of the physics and the ai, again for the favor of old crappy consoles.

But then again its not beating RDR2 or Ghost of Tsushima or GoW. Also high graphics + average gameplay just doesn't cut it nowadays. Studios like R* and Naughty Dog have set the bar way too high.

I commend them for making a good game at heart, but they cant be that bad at making a game that it takes 10+ years and 2 more of updates to make it the full and usable product

I'm currently playing the game to find bugs ...man I got a lot of them...some are way serious...they should have waited a year or so to release phantom liberty. I love the concept of the game but man...they need to devote more time.

Very small cosmetics visual updates after 3 years nothing big and yes still many unrealistic things including AI and environment. Not too big an improvement overall but definitely should be already there 3 years ago.
GTA and Saints Row were just ahead of their time it seems.
Saints row 4 that was somewhat disliked, but it is so much ahead of this game, especially in guns and movement around the city

I don't mind some of the technical glitches but for the love of Zod, fix the damn driving mechanics!!!! Each car handles like a drunk running on an ice skating rink!!!! Every vehicle handles like crap with the exception of certain motocycles!
Despite updates, the first person plays and feels like you're playing some remastered fps from the early 2000s, it is so bad

I have had the PS5 for a while now and I'm happy with it. following the release of the DLC I installed again CP-77 {I have more than 3000 hours of gameplay on Cyber'}; and there I am amazed by the worst that can happen to a game; in my case CP-77 has aged, aged a lot.
I thought that was the cause of having played it too much, however with RDR2 I have just as many hours of play.
I still play with the same pleasure on RDR2 {this is not the case for Cyberpunk 2007}.
I will not buy this DLC; in my case, the CP-77 page is turned, definitely.

As of today the game is still broken. The shadow is still horrible. I bought it on release for PS4 then a week ago I got it for PS5 it's still a hot mess.

Estoy jugando Fallout New Vegas actualmente. Ya te digo yo, incluso sin Bugs, cyberpunk se muere de vergüenza comparado con ese juego. Lo único que Cyberpunk tiene de rpg es ese sistema de niveles absurdo que solo sirve para sacarte de la experiencia y el árbol de habilidades sacado del Skyrim, de resto no hay realmente muchas formas de interactuar con el entorno, hay facciones enteras a las que ni siquiera te puedes unir, ni siquiera realizar misiones secundarias para ellos (como los animales o los maelstorm que solo sirven de antagonistas para algunas misiones) en cambio, en new Vegas todavía no encontré una sola facción con la que no se pueda interactuar

Patch 2.0 will improve vehicles a TON and will include the ability to shoot tires to slow or stop a vehicle
people who say 'this game is good now' have no standards. V1 is complete trash and the current version still is. Yes, better than V1 obviously, but damn. The fact that the player stands still on a moving car lol. the fire on the barrel just slowly dissapears shows how they couldn't actually make it attach to the game object etc... Yeah it just blows my mind how a game company can make a '2.0' version of a game and still have less than 90% of details compared to GTA 5 that came out in 2013... while it calls itself an RPG game...

Still have not reached what we've expected from the game, the physics is garbage, and lacks interaction and immersion, it feels like an unfinished game. It doesn't matter how much the game improved from it's release, it's basically features and technical matters that should've been since day 1.
if someone consider it as improvements, it simply shows that the game was even worse than we thought.
