@chris carter some years yes, some no. The older ones are fiberglass (more sought after because they are lighter and stronger). You kinda have to know what they look like to know what to look for.
You're going about it all wrong all you need is a heat gun and they peel right off it takes usually about 30 minutes to remove all of them then you just use a paint scraper on the mat all of it should take about an hour and a 1/2
Where do you get the rubber wheel ?

14:27 of drill ,heatgun, scraping noises.. Bro .............NO
I would normally agree but I sanded and put a couple coats of fresh gel coat on after this video. The more I got off the easier the sanding.
How did your repair hold up? Those jetskis aren't fiberglass, they are smc. They are painted not gel coat.
So far so good, haven’t had any issues
@@MarleyJaxGarage that's good. I'm fixing up a couple of waveventures right now. The decals came off the same horrible way. I repainted the bottom.
You're wrong those are absolutely Fiber glass and gel code

Hah I wish, I tried a heat gun for a while. These things were baked on for over 20 years. I have had better luck with newer decals.
