These comparsas are filled with music, dance, and colorful costumes, and Lecuona captured the energy and festive spirit of these celebrations in his composition. "The Comparsa" is a vibrant and joyful piece that evokes the joy and vitality of the Cuban carnival. So here I have the original version, written for piano.

    For some reason this reminds me of Haydn's 45th Symphony first movement, maybe due to the similar Key and the many notes on weaker beats.
