These are a great van. I fitted an e-locker in the diff to help overcome their tendency to bog in the wet and sand. For around $1,300 it's worth it if you want to get down onto the creek banks for camping without anxiety.
I put the bunnings screen in as well but glued magnets onto the screen, works like a treat. You need to get the 34kg magnets (get them on ebay or in bunnings sometimes) and they never let go.

Good one with the Bunnings fly screens. I use them in my own van. Gold Coast City Council hates van lifers overnighting anywhere, on the street, in the suburbs, anywhere. They recently launched a new crackdown against overnighting on the street. It's partly because it takes away revenue from the local hotels (the mayor owns one). However, there is also good reason because so many leave rubbish and 'other waste' behind. I know responsible vanlifers don't do that but enough have done that they just got fed up with it. In the summer when you walk past a caravan that's been a few days parked in your local area and you can smell the urine that they're just dumping straight out on the grass sidewalk or gutter, you begin to understand how people who are pigs spoil things for everyone. Or a rusty converted Toyota Commuter bus that's four or five weeks in a car park off the main highway that when they finally move on they leave two shopping carts overflowing with garbage, or the small supermarket car park where they're obviously turning a blind eye to someone repeatedly overnighting there but the bushes alongside are filling up with rubbish. Some people just don't get it and spoil things for those who try to do the right thing.

Hi mate, I have an 07 model petrol as well. I had issues with my fuel gauge some months ago now and I ended up replacing the fuel pump, filter etc... And after that I've had no issues with the fuel gauge reading correctly. Non genuine was fitted by myself and I paid $440 dollars for it. Hope this helps. Cheers. Safe travels.
Engel upright fridge will see you have nice cold food and drinks for many years. The minister for finance did you one hell of a good turn. Strange but most woman are happy to get you out of the house. My wife would never let me go camping alone. She loves camping to much.
I like your clothes washing idea! Are you using the linear FOV mode on your GoPro/action cam? (Guessing on the camera from the shadows). Your wind noise cancellation seems pretty bloody good on the beach, was it the built in microphone? Thanks for sharing this 👍
