Another job you could do is the fuel filter under the back seats easy and if its never been done then will surly need doing. Even after 30k miles mine was fully blocked.
Hello Ollie, thank you for the tutorial. I am trying to fit my KC 400 rally lights using your method. The wiring harness already came with positive and ground connectors and three pins for a switch. If I use your method, I will connect the three connectors to positive, ground and rally light to the 4-pin relay. Then once I splice the green/yellow high beam wire, one end goes to relay pin 1 , and where should the other cutoff end go? Should I splice the wire into two seperate wires and connect one to the relay and one to the high beam connector? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
@@nothinginhere916 if you google spot light relay wiring diagram, there are loads of pictures of what needs connecting to where. Plus it will probably make more sense than me trying to explain it!
Hi, first thank you!! It seems to be a nice job but it's a completely different way to install driving lamp on this mini. I would like to know if, 7 month later, everything is ok?
@@olliesgarage thanks I’ll have a look I’ve had to re make the wiring for my lights but the guy who did it used positive and neg to the light and it didn’t make any sense to me the relay and fuse is all good and earthed like the one in the video I’ll have a look thanks

From the relay do you just use a single positive wire? I’m really crap at wiring
@@willus567 Yep, and then the light needs an earth as well. If you google relay wiring, there is plenty of diagrams etc to help you.
