Out of all the motorcyclist people I follow your videos are those that I look forward to most. Nothing fancy, a modest bike and committed riding. Excellent work.
this is great stuff, can only dream of riding a road like this, and the only time I will get to see a part of the world is through your vids, awesome !
You're giving me a hard time Schaaf! I was planning to sell my little CB500F next year to get a 600ccm naked bike, but watching you on your little 500 makes me reconsider my plans!
+TheTotoro619 well for me I can only say that I would've been able to afford an upgrade to more powerful 600cc nakeds at certain times in my life but in the end the more agile and less expensive CB always won!
WOW! I mean WOW, i see what you mean about the scenery. That was a pretty scrappy road surface and if you add the issue's your bike had i take my hat of to you because that was fearless (i think i shit my pants for you). The end is truly stunning seeing that beautiful valley and then looking at the lovely road to come laid out before you. I really don't mind waiting for footage like that as the end result is truly awesome. Thank you Schaaf for a wonderful sixteen minutes. Ride Safe and as always keep it shiny side up. Ps the double "wow" is for the riding.
Nice ride as usual. I'm a little bit envy about your ability to ride these roads with 'some' corners and the passes. ;) Is it possible that you make even longer videos of you motorcycle trips?
+Deal with it thank you :) What do you mean with "longer" - these videos are always as long as the ride through the nice bits of the road is taking me :)
+Schaaf , your travel list on the tank of your bike is a lot longer than the videos on your channel. I'm asking you if it is possible to upload the whole/bigger part of journey on 2 wheels. Raw footage would be ok. :)Thanks!
Hi there, Schaaf! Long time no...comment! :D I must say, being a CB500 owner myself, and knowing it is a fairly simple bike, when it comes to braking, frame, suspension and such...I keep having a sense of awe, every single time i see your videos. But, i must say: you took some severe risks on this one, specially with some of those road conditions... I´m surprised how suspension handled it so well... :) Lol on that left mirror! Keep it entertaining... but keep it safe! :) Gooooooo, Schaaafentino!
I bet your Tire supplier really loves to see you Coming ......... What does your tires look like after blazing up all these roads ? and how many would you go through same in a year ? As Always keep`er Lit Dude XT Donkey
+The XT Donkey thanks mate! It's not that bad since I ride very little each season. The rear lasts for a bit more than ~4500km and that's about what I ride each year. This year it was a little more so I had to change before going on the ITALIA tour
How late in the year do those roads stay open? Great video, I find them so chill to watch! Keys didn't annoy but aargh... dat mirror!?! Upset my OCD! :)
+Grand day for spins! Definitely 1st. On the tight inside you actually need 1st. But I also use 1st on the outside in left hand hairpins for faster acceleration.
Before i start to watch this video i want to say HOLY SHIT !! You rode your bike the fearless way you do with all of these potential major handling altering problems and recorded it for us ! Forget Akrapovic titanium, Respect for the man with balls of titanium your bike must have handled like a pig on bricks!!. And now to watch some twisties.
"Bei Schaafstadt links, dann rechts an Hondatown vorbei, am Kreisverkehr geradeaus, KURVENKURVENKURVEN, dann wieder links,..." :D Sehr geiles Roadbook! :)
+Filip Kavčič I've got a few Euro countries on my list: Croatia, Italy (again and again), France, Spain, and Poland. But it will take a couple of years until I can afford to visit all these places :) Thanks!!
Some of that is so much like up here in Scotland, other than that last bit lol. I really need to make a video one day or invite you over in a non serial killer way :-)
+Schaaf Ha! If u want to hug me u have to let me offer you a beer first and I really hope it can happen in the next season. Aside from this I was wondering how did u manage to drive in all those places with out anti sun glass/internal visor
+Gázser Márk although it sometimes bothers me that the CB doesn't backfire that nicely on higher altitudes. She just remains quiet and suddenly BANG - the tunnel was a great example for that :D
Ah.. I see you also suffer from the dreaded loose mirror syndrome! Sucks.. Oh and the keys in your backpack not a problem at all I very much enjoyed the video and hardly even notice them.
Out of all the motorcyclist people I follow your videos are those that I look forward to most. Nothing fancy, a modest bike and committed riding. Excellent work.
The sound quality is one of the MAJOR reasons why I love your videos. Awesomee!
+Abel Edwards thanks a lot Abel!!
lovely place soo peacefull n soo green
+Ajgum Motovlog true that!
The scenery is wonderful... Thank you for these 16 minutes of schaafsomeness! 😊
+MrKiddo à ton service !
😃😃😃
The more likes this comment gets the faster I start working on Part II
+Schaaf
Go for.
Big V .
+Schaaf Well get started already then. ;)
I really liked it!
okay okay, I'll edit Part II on Friday. Should be online on Sunday :)
Awesome mountain views ^.^ looking forward to part two
+lsmanufactur some trancemusic or edm would be good in my opinion :)
A proper Schaaf quality again as always! great stuff man !
+Gabsy5 thanks a lot man :)
Been there a few weeks ago, beautiful place! You have to check out Passo del Manghen next season!
I could watch your videos for daaaaaaays
+TankGrrrl thank you Tanki :,) Glad I got some more!
this is great stuff, can only dream of riding a road like this, and the only time I will get to see a part of the world is through your vids, awesome !
+Jim V glad I can help :) Thanks Jim :)
That was close for some moments, I surprised myself to be scared ;) Love your video especially on Stelvio Pass, can't wait for part II !
+William Shire what exactly was close?
+Schaaf at 3:38 for instance
+William Shire I even managed to stay in my lane. On a rather narrow road. I wouldn't call it close.
+Schaaf wouldn't offence you, it was just my feeling while watching your video, I'm not judging your way of riding, I find it amazing !
+William Shire I didn't take it as an offence, no worries :) I'm just curious what other people view as "close" :)

+Jeremy Markham thank you so much for always taking the time to write these awesome and thoughtful comments Jeremy! Much appreciated!
Yay mirror is back
+Matthias Cichon thank you!!
So jealous. What a beautiful place and what a glorious road.
+AngryPrawn indeed!
Aaaaawesommee! I really need to get down there in the future 😍
+Marc der Motovlogger Mit Isabella ! :D
+Marc der Motovlogger unbedingt! Und sag bescheid, wenn du dort bist :)
+Schaaf Aber gib ihm 10min Vorsprung :)
+Fahrt Wind Ich krieg 10 Minuten Vorsprung wegen halber Motorleistung xD
hi man what is your tire brand and model?
nice left rear view mirror ;) my honda scooter used to do that too when the road was bumpy!
+Beaver 314 hahaha in its defence: I had no decent tools with me when I installed them. And later I of course forgot to "further" fix them
lovely road!! :D and nice "notes" as always in your video !
+Ranic thanks bro!!
Absolutely spectacular mate, with views like that I'd have been transfixed and ridden off the edge!
+Carmo Motovlog ouch :D Thanks Carmo!
Nice ride as usual. I'm a little bit envy about your ability to ride these roads with 'some' corners and the passes. ;)
Is it possible that you make even longer videos of you motorcycle trips?
+Deal with it thank you :) What do you mean with "longer" - these videos are always as long as the ride through the nice bits of the road is taking me :)

+Deal with it that's not a travel list, it's a road book. I'm only filming the exciting bits. I'll upload them all here.
Hi there, Schaaf!
Long time no...comment! :D
I must say, being a CB500 owner myself, and knowing it is a fairly simple bike, when it comes to braking, frame, suspension and such...I keep having a sense of awe, every single time i see your videos.
But, i must say: you took some severe risks on this one, specially with some of those road conditions...
I´m surprised how suspension handled it so well... :)
Lol on that left mirror!
Keep it entertaining... but keep it safe! :)
Gooooooo, Schaaafentino!
+Ricardo Henriques well... I wouldn't be able to ride the way I do with stock suspension :) Thanks a lot Ricardo! :)
+Schaaf indeed ;)
I bet your Tire supplier really loves to see you Coming ......... What does your tires look like after blazing up all these roads ? and how many would you go through same in a year ?
As Always keep`er Lit Dude
XT Donkey
+The XT Donkey thanks mate! It's not that bad since I ride very little each season. The rear lasts for a bit more than ~4500km and that's about what I ride each year. This year it was a little more so I had to change before going on the ITALIA tour
Simply incredible views!
+allyc85 indeed!
Dat road, the view, the ride. Ist gut!
+mornbar1 danke :D
How late in the year do those roads stay open? Great video, I find them so chill to watch!
Keys didn't annoy but aargh... dat mirror!?! Upset my OCD! :)
+Grand day for spins! thanks! This one usually from June - October
Hey for those tight hairpins on the CB do you come right down to 1st or do you recommend leaving it in 2nd?
+Grand day for spins! Definitely 1st. On the tight inside you actually need 1st. But I also use 1st on the outside in left hand hairpins for faster acceleration.
Before i start to watch this video i want to say HOLY SHIT !! You rode your bike the fearless way you do with all of these potential major handling altering problems and recorded it for us ! Forget Akrapovic titanium, Respect for the man with balls of titanium your bike must have handled like a pig on bricks!!. And now to watch some twisties.
+Jeremy Markham I had two full days of riding before this day to get used to it :D
A full two days!! It would take most people a week and that would be at thirty KPH.
"Bei Schaafstadt links, dann rechts an Hondatown vorbei, am Kreisverkehr geradeaus, KURVENKURVENKURVEN, dann wieder links,..." :D Sehr geiles Roadbook! :)
Schaaf, will you ever do an Euro tour? That would be soo awsome to wach!
Another great video to watch thoe :)
+Filip Kavčič I've got a few Euro countries on my list: Croatia, Italy (again and again), France, Spain, and Poland. But it will take a couple of years until I can afford to visit all these places :) Thanks!!
+Schaaf RIP Slovenia xD
+Filip Kavčič I'll visit Slovenia again when I go to Croatia ;)
I,m heading there in 3 weeks on my vstrom, coming from Ireland....
Added to the list! Beautiful riding in a beautiful place :)
+The Swiss Motard thanks mate :)
Exhilarating Share !!!
Thx for stopping @ 13:30mim, WoW !!!
;)
Ur skills handled any slippy spots,
Well Done !!!
+Dracati Ducati thanks a lot Dracati! For me it was indeed very unusual to stop. This time I simply couldn't "fly by"!
It was worth it !!!
that descending view was picturesque
:)
thx for reply
Loved it, what a great road!
+Hoosier Throttle thank you!!
What a fantastic road " A bit bumpy in some places :) " and the scenery to match , Great Ride Thumbs up
+Samurai H (SamuraiHg) hehe true that although it wouldn't be THAT noticeable without the annoying clanging noise I think :D
Oh my dearly lord. You have no idea how jelly I am of you
+Slipprymongoose but you can go surfing at least :D
What does the note on the bike say? :p
+StupeflixDnBMusic it's a list of people whose comments I should ignore :D
Great ride, been there also.
+BurnSomeFuel awesome! Thanks!
+Schaaf you know our lil honda's are rock solid for roads like that. 👍
+BurnSomeFuel it's like they were built with roads like that in mind :)
Good job. U survived another one.
+Earl Tash thanks :D
"balls, you have" - Yoda.
+Hold Fast Films I'm afraid I'm on the dark side though lol
+Schaaf The dark side is the coolest side... 😈
+MrKiddo WAY more fun :D
+MrKiddo come to the dark side, we have cookies !
Some of that is so much like up here in Scotland, other than that last bit lol. I really need to make a video one day or invite you over in a non serial killer way :-)
+The Kruxed the Highlands are on my list as well! My time will come, gotta be patient for now though!
dat sound in the tunnel :ooo
+Tim Wendt baBÄMMMM
That's crazy but you video relaxing me ^^'
+Agnz cool! Thanks!
soooo f***in awesome! keep goin!
+Madlife 77 thanks man!!!
COOL . . . I like . . . I like
+Whabie Whabligone thanks :)
If you keep traveling those roads one day i might be able to meet you and shake ur hand
+Cat Caturday I'll even give you a manly bro-hug
+Schaaf I take no hugs from dudes!
+Cat Caturday I'm not gay but I do hate homophobic people :)
+Schaaf Ha! If u want to hug me u have to let me offer you a beer first and I really hope it can happen in the next season. Aside from this I was wondering how did u manage to drive in all those places with out anti sun glass/internal visor
+Cat Caturday because I like to stare Grim Reaper straight into the eyes :)
The tunnel part was the perfect way to end this video....braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap..................pop. :D
+Gázser Márk although it sometimes bothers me that the CB doesn't backfire that nicely on higher altitudes. She just remains quiet and suddenly BANG - the tunnel was a great example for that :D
Oh yes, that backfire doe :D
dat twisties doe
+150 Rooster !!!
.... und ewig dreht sich der Spiegel .... :-)
+Grobstollen AsphaltHunter freut mich!
Pure Bike porn! that road looks like a lot of fun!!
+YummisakiiRides so much fun!! Thanks!
Ah.. I see you also suffer from the dreaded loose mirror syndrome! Sucks.. Oh and the keys in your backpack not a problem at all I very much enjoyed the video and hardly even notice them.
+MidwestMotoRider good to read that! Thanks a lot mate :)
Agreed! The clunk noise from your keys makes your vid more alive! It outputs the feeling of riding on this bumpy road.
komm ma net mitm Gaberl an xD
na geeeh was hastn gegen das Gaberl?
+Becci wärst halt amal Richtung Nordosten gefahren xD
