I just realized this is basically a REALLY intense love song for like broken alternative broken chicks lol. Sung from the perspective of the woman to the man (who I like to image turned their make-up FIGHT, yes make-up FIGHT, into a love song tribute to her). They're fighting because she feels he's holding back a lot internally and wants him to release it. And since she's you're typical broken alt-chick, she can only communicate through endless arguing over nothing. So she decides to release all her past traumas in one massive fight with him where she pushed him to do the same in return. They both do and it magically/Deus-Ex Machina does fix them both and the final moments of the song are the transcendental release for them both.
