Any date set on opening? Looks great until it hits the town at McKenna's! some "bypass" Someone will be killed on the J B Keane road, it's bad enough as it is. Handrails need installing the length of it! A disastrous route, passing through the most populated part of listowel! The people of listowel should be excited to see the end of it but its hard to feel anything but deflated and annoyed by it all, even when completed. Jb keane road could have been a nice relief road for locals and surrounding estates! A shambles! or when completed *a complete shambles!*
It may look nice, but it's not a bypass at all. Completely the wrong route, going through the town is not a bypass. it's a glorified relief road. Going through partbof the town that is completely residential, 6 housing estates pouring onto the Ballygologolue intersection. Remember, plans and funding for this were first earmarked in 2006!! It's now 2024!! That's 18 years ago. Why does everything take so long in this state. If this were in Russia or China, this would have been planned, budgeted, and built within 12 months maximum. A lot of people alive in 2006, not alive today, to see this, it's a shame and tragic. €61 it cost to build 6.2 km of this, that €10 per km, which is a rip off and a scandal. If it is a bypass, why is there not a pedestrian/ walking / cycling / scooter path not on the route separated by a crash barrier like there are on so many other bypasses? Not getting our money's worth at all here. As for taking traffic from the town, i cant see that happening, as the Tarbert ferry traffic, Kerry Co-Op trucks, the most dangerous on the road, will still go the shorter, more direct route by ploughing through the town. Felt i needed to state this here. hope, nobody is offended as that's not my wish, only saying it out loud.
Great video and captures the complete structures. Well done.

Fantastic footage but a disgrace to bring it up the middle of the town
