I ended up getting the older version BCS myself, but for $1,000 used, I can manage the draw backs for a few years. It's so difficult to find used BCS or implements for our 2 wheel tractors. I'd love to have the new versions, but it might just be another few years. I'd love to find a good Berta rotary plow this spring. We will see. They are all better then no harrow for sure.

Hi @Sparkeee1978. Thanks for your comments. Well since BCS equipment is super good and durable, folks are not selling it that often used (unless its the older straight axle machines). When it is out there used it generally sells quick, especially used rotary plows and power harrows. Glad you found one that you like! Happy growing!

does the power harrow help avoid hard-pan. i have the bcs rototiller and it makes a bad hard-pan and thought of getting the rotary plow and harrow to avoid this problem.

Hi @JerryBear. Yes, harrow helps avoid hard-pan created by tilling at same depth over and over. Also it does NOT invert the soil layers which the soil life likes! Thanks for checking out our videos!
