Great tutorial! Joining the ranks of those that saved a call to the technician (and probably 100 pounds) for what was a 15 minutes job. I owe you a pint!
Thanks for the video. Saved me a nightmare at 9pm. I ended up just getting every spare towel in the house and tipping the dishwasher over to empty the slowly, but got the same result.
Thank you, you absolute hero and legend, been beeping and drain constantly going since yesterday, was so much water at the bottom of the dishwasher, thanks, has stopped now, got AEG engineer coming out Wednesday to hopefully fix the problem
Eres un genio! Me has ahorrado un buen dinero, pero lo mejor es decirle a mi señora que no llame a su papá a arreglar los problemas técnicos de casa. Gracias por salvar mi orgullo, jejeje!
Brilliant thank you, I just tipped the dishwasher backwards to see how to get the front kick board off and the water drained out on to a towel I put down just in case.
Hi Mikko, thanks for the tutorial, worked perfectly, I owe you a beer. First I visited AEG's official site, but their only advice was to call a licensed service technician.
I have the AEG aeg ffb63806pm with the same i30 error. I did the same steps. The front of the washer was harder to get off because I have a different model non the less for now it seems fixed. Thank you 💪
That's the case also with our machine because input valve is leaking water into machine (while machine is off) as shown in video with wet paper. This triggers i30 error if manual water valve is left open for a day or such. See video description for full explanation. "Meanwhile we can keep using the old "leaking" machine when manual water input valve is closed after every wash."
@@MikkoAuvinen i found out my problem. My problem started when I put (don't know the english word for it but I call it dishwasher salt) in to the container and forgot to close the lid. The next morning it was fine but then I started a second time i30. came after 30 minutes. I could not figure out how, what and why so I decided to take the machine apart. I took out the container where the salt used to be and you know what? It was empty but the slot next to it was filled with dirty left over food etc. Because I forgot to put the lid back all the salt was gone and food went inside it. So I cleaned it out and put everything back together. I run it 3 times empty and the first time with a machine cleaner. It is good for now (has been 3 days).
Hey ! I want to try your solution but the bottom section (plastic part bot even the metallic with the screws) is unremovable :// any idea on how I could get my way around it ? I don’t want to force to much because I’m scared of ruining the piece ! Thanks
Maybe some vocal clarification might help as well. For example is it the back plate (grey plastic cover on our machine) down the bottom that you removed to access that water?
This is explained in video description: "The cause seems to be that "safety valve" in water inlet hose is not fully closing, thus allowing water to leak into the machine."
@@nestorihovi4070Ei vaihdettu letkua. 😕
See the video description. For us it was leaking valve in the inlet hose. Our neighbor had the same thing so I guess that's quite usual cause. Closing the manual inlet valve between washes prevents this.
lol there is usually a reason as to why there is water in the bottom pan. simply clearing it away is not problem solving. you need to find the reason as to why the water was leaking in the first place.
You're right. This is explained in video description and the video is titled as "workaround fix". Video also shows the malfunctioning inlet valve that leaked in water in our case.
My error 30 started in the middle of a cycle and the device continuesly bipped and pump ran till in unplugged it from the electricity (if i plugged in again it immediately sterted to beep and pump ran). I did your solution and device stopped beeping, but after 30 sec when I ran a cycle again the error 30 came back. Seems there must be an actual fault like a leackage, faulty sensor or something? EDIT: I have rechecked and there is full of water again so i image a hose leackage...
If the water level inside the machine raises above the certain level (for any reason), it will deliberately flood into secondary tray where the flood sensor is located. Read the video description for details (in our case water input valve was leaking).
Oh come on guys!!! This "fix" is for one day. We could you a real tutorial how to FIX it PERMANATELY. I don't need an every night ritual with a disheasher 😂
Great tutorial! Joining the ranks of those that saved a call to the technician (and probably 100 pounds) for what was a 15 minutes job. I owe you a pint!
Worked on my side! I used a sponge and some kitchen towels, error immediately gone. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much! You went direct to the point and saved me a call to the technician!!! I owe you a beer!

Thanks all. I have done it! It’s works! But I used sponge.👍🏻
Brilliant thank you, I just tipped the dishwasher backwards to see how to get the front kick board off and the water drained out on to a towel I put down just in case.
Thank you. You solved my problem. I only used kitchen towels to clean the water and it still worked.
Thank you! You had literally saved our Christmas!

Thank a lot for this tips ! I’ve just resolved it 🎉

Hi there. Im having the same issue. What was the solution around this? Would appreciate any help im trying to save some cash and not get a tech out
Best solution 👍🏻
Thanks it has helped, altough I found 2 small gray tubes/cords that are not really connected to anything, what are they?
As a service tech. I would like to tell you😅
The front is pretty hard to get off. I'm afraid I might break something, or should I just push through?
Maybe some vocal clarification might help as well. For example is it the back plate (grey plastic cover on our machine) down the bottom that you removed to access that water?
Yes it's the front bottom cover. Usually no need to move the machine if your AEG/Electrolux model has roughly the same structure.
Is this a permanent fix? I just removed all that water will i need to do to again later? The error stoped happened atleast
Thank you worked great!
Thanx! This helped me fix it
Hola buenas noches perdona una pregunta tengo una lavavajillas AEG sale error i11 que senifeca este error que broplima es gracias
Absolute save, cheers!!
Thank you very much!
it works. thank you for the video
Thank you
Merci beaucoup
Good video, but where was the actual problem? The leakage or something? How that water got under there? Can it happen when drainage filter is clogged?
This is explained in video description: "The cause seems to be that "safety valve" in water inlet hose is not fully closing, thus allowing water to leak into the machine."
IT WORKED!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great! Thanks a lot.
Cheers! … that worked 👍🏼
Thanks, it helped!
Does anyone know what the main reason is ending up with water under the washing machine? It happened two times for me in the last month.
See the video description. For us it was leaking valve in the inlet hose. Our neighbor had the same thing so I guess that's quite usual cause. Closing the manual inlet valve between washes prevents this.
That works! Thanks!👍👌
Thanks it work ❤❤
But I don’t understand why the pump continues to work? Is it train to drain it?
Inner tray is flooded with water. Running drain pump prevents incoming water flooding to your apartment.
I think I love you!
Yes and the same error comes after 1 wash.
Thank you man ... Fixed ❤️🫡

But why is water in the Bottom?
If the water level inside the machine raises above the certain level (for any reason), it will deliberately flood into secondary tray where the flood sensor is located. Read the video description for details (in our case water input valve was leaking).
@@MikkoAuvinen but wich Reason? Defect Sensor? Wrong dose of Powder? Thats will be interesting.
Hi Mikko, How did you manage to open the bottom section of the dishwasher? Thank you
Just remove those screws. They might be covered with plastic tops, remove those first to reveal the screws.
Merci beaucoup, ça marchée
Thank youuuuu !!!!!!
well it's a temporary fix, after 1-2 washes it flooded again for me
Thnxxx!!! 😅
lifesaver
Thanks

Fuck… I don’t have access to that part.. it’s integrated with wood…
Where does the water comes from 🤣
Water inlet valve was leaking when it was closed. See video description for full explanation.
KIITOS!!!
Thank you very much Mr. Auvinen. This morning I've got the i30 error and your video saved me some money. Keep it up!
Fixed my problem, great video!
Thank you so much!
Thanks a lot 😀
