It makes me so sad that she's not dancing regularly nowadays. She was my favourite dancer to watch because her movements (not just her face) told the story, and her dancing was well beyond her years. Had she not chosen to become an influencer/TikToker and instead kept up with her training, she would have made a huge impact on the dance world. *Sighs heavily*
I agree but I think we need to respect her decision to quit if that's what she wanted. The amount of training and stress you have to go through to dance and compete at this level just isn't worth it if you don't have 100% passion for it. And you can't force passion if it isn't there anymore. I'm just happy that nowadays she seems to be doing things she enjoys.
That show ruined so many good dancers it’s so sad
@@charlottesellars1885yea, but not just the show, it had to be more to it. Because she kept training for almost 2 years after season 8, and she became friends with piper and it kinda changed her a bit, and she became a full time influencer, and I think Tiffany had something to do with her not dancing, because Tiffany probably only wanted her to be an influencer like piper and her friends.

Did this compete against Lilly or did they compete at different yapg comps?
no,the last yagp lilly complete is in 2019,where she won hope award,i forgot where she complete in but i remember is not indianapolis.
In this video,ellie complete in 2020 (indianapolis),she got 1st for contemporary and top 24 for classical. Yagp held regionals around the world and will have finals in mid april.(Except yagp cancel the finals in 2020 due to pandemic)
plus ellie is 12 when she complete this,which is in junior category, and lilly is a year younger than her (they had the same birthday)

Ellie has been competing in yagp since 2016 she won quite a few times in the contemporary ballet category and got the hope award in 2018 that girl would have been everywhere had she kept dancing and just acting instead of tiktok
