The reason why is because the developers started to use motion capture, so they had to make his muscles more normal sized. He's still Chris "Fuck Boulders" Redfield and he still has that strength, but just normal sized muscles.

For example hand cut of = staples, bug bites = bumps on hand and arms, Fat Fucks vomit = burns, and blocking melee attacks = slashes across your hands. I find it cool how if you get slashed on the hand and than poor medicine on the hand the blood gets washed off but if you look closely you can see where the skin was cut.

i can honestly say that the short cutscene at 3:20, showing Jack's true kind hearted nature before infection, was probably one of the best scenes in the whole game. It shows the major difference before and after. Infected Jack swears left and right but the real Jack only has kind words to say. Absolutely great scene.

Or that Vendetta was happening at the time and ended with Chris getting a new look for a disguise while the rest of his team were undercover and hijacked an Umbrella helicopter then heard the commotion to rescue Ethan. The end.
Watch The boss fight database channel after credit it show "Not a hero. Coming 2017" with new look Chris Redfield on the background. So the other thing might reveal more or more question.

Isn't the player supposed to realize that the serum is no good anyways and doesn't really appear to cure either Zoe or Mia? The Zoe ending to me is definitely unsatisfying and frustrating. I mean why couldn't Mia just shove Ethan out the door and shut it like last time?? I mean the Zoe ending is sad in the sense that I don't think the player gets a really good explanation as to why both Mia and Zoe had to die. What do you guys think?

1 he sounds nothing like wesker and 2 we do get a glimpse of it towards the end when ethan has flashbacks right before he is thrown into the wall against evil mia before the final boss fight you can see his face
Prince Vegeta you can get a glimpse of his face. If you save mia you play as her and go into the boat. In one of the rooms is a control panel for the security cameras. And on one of the cam's you can see Ethan in the fungi thing. Only a bit though.
Why in the world would anyone even consider choosing Zoe? I mean, I know that she helped Ethan escape and all, but Mia is his wife for crying out loud. She’s why this game even takes place because she’s the whole reason he even went there, and he has gone through the nine circles of hell to save her. He even got his damn hand sawed off to save her. So choosing Zoe just defeats the purpose of all his sacrifices. Put aside the fact that saving Mia is the happy ending. I know we don’t find out about Eveline until after making that choice, but I can’t imagine anyone choosing Zoe and not regretting it tremendously after beating the game. To me, choosing Zoe is simply a piss poor option. When I played it, not only did I choose Mia, I didn’t even look Zoe’s way. But to each their own I guess 🤷♂️

Remember in Metal Gear Solid V how Big Boss looked different (inb4 "wasn't that just the medic" he looked exactly like Big Boss in-universe) and had a different VA? That was because the rendering technology they were doing made it much more convenient. That was likely the case here. It was convenient. Besides, Chris has had more than one VA throughout the series. Not to mention Chris' appearance in RE5 and 6 wasn't very well liked anyways. New technology, new chance: that was probably what Capcom thought.

The first time I watched this game, I was thinking Mia too, it made the most sense, I was there for her, even though she was a bit crazy she tried to help Ethan and almost killed him too, but we knew who she was and she had the most screen time. With Zoe, I feel like the game just didn't give you enough to care for her. The only real good thing she did for Ethan was sow his arm together, which is pretty easy to overlook, but I wish she could have had more, I wish she could have met Ethan face to fact at least once before you had to make the choice. It would have invested in her more and made the choice more morally challenging. Also I am pissed about ending 2, what was the point of the cure then?

The reason games are so fun is because they allow you to interact and learn the story, while simultaneously providing you with multiple routes to finish the particular level. While at basketball, you dribble the ball, there is dunking which provides one point , three pointer, which is a shot from a far away distance, and and two-pointer, which is shot from a medium distance,(I think) hopefully, you will see why I like games more than basketball, but hey, it's your opinion.

Prince Vegeta you can get a glimpse of his face. If you save mia you play as her and go into the boat. In one of the rooms is a control panel for the security cameras. And on one of the cam's you can see Ethan in the fungi thing. Only a bit though.

Why in the world would anyone even consider choosing Zoe? I mean, I know that she helped Ethan escape and all, but Mia is his wife for crying out loud. She’s why this game even takes place because she’s the whole reason he even went there, and he has gone through the nine circles of hell to save her. He even got his damn hand sawed off to save her. So choosing Zoe just defeats the purpose of all his sacrifices. Put aside the fact that saving Mia is the happy ending. I know we don’t find out about Eveline until after making that choice, but I can’t imagine anyone choosing Zoe and not regretting it tremendously after beating the game. To me, choosing Zoe is simply a piss poor option. When I played it, not only did I choose Mia, I didn’t even look Zoe’s way. But to each their own I guess 🤷♂️

That was because the rendering technology they were doing made it much more convenient. That was likely the case here. It was convenient. Besides, Chris has had more than one VA throughout the series.
Not to mention Chris' appearance in RE5 and 6 wasn't very well liked anyways. New technology, new chance: that was probably what Capcom thought.

The first time I watched this game, I was thinking Mia too, it made the most sense, I was there for her, even though she was a bit crazy she tried to help Ethan and almost killed him too, but we knew who she was and she had the most screen time. With Zoe, I feel like the game just didn't give you enough to care for her. The only real good thing she did for Ethan was sow his arm together, which is pretty easy to overlook, but I wish she could have had more, I wish she could have met Ethan face to fact at least once before you had to make the choice. It would have invested in her more and made the choice more morally challenging. Also I am pissed about ending 2, what was the point of the cure then?

The reason games are so fun is because they allow you to interact and learn the story, while simultaneously providing you with multiple routes to finish the particular level. While at basketball, you dribble the ball, there is dunking which provides one point , three pointer, which is a shot from a far away distance, and and two-pointer, which is shot from a medium distance,(I think) hopefully, you will see why I like games more than basketball, but hey, it's your opinion.

The main reason why I picked Mia is because Zoe told Ethan to use the serum on Jack. So therefore it was her own responsibility of her own serum. I know Ethan kept them both and Zoe complained before the boss fight. But she said what she wanted so that's on her lol.
