so what would an ideal reference resolution with pixel perfect be for modern day mobile gaming? Given screen aspect ratio being 19.5:9? Suppose we use your example of Celeste which has a resolution of 320 x 180 (16:9) what would that game's resolution need to be to fit a modern day mobile game (19.5:9) ?

Solved it already? The problem is probably it's your script that controls the camera following the player.
@@maiksonstrife I'm using Cinemachine. I just gave up: Pixel Perfect Camera + Cinemachine just can't work together, because canvas is messed up.

Setting the grid size has no effect in my case. I use Unity 2022.03.12f1

this made the game broke it; when the charecter turns so does the camera (it flipps when you go left)

My Pixel Perfect Camera has different settings. I have options for crop frame and pixel snapping but no Upscale Render Texture and no Edit mode.
