While I was trying to follow the conversation with my half Spanish, I could see how much effort put into this work Sergio. This is just my incompetence, no one should be upset 😂😂. Waouuuh ! Le résultat est magnifique, c'est très harmonieux, bravo ! Quel bon moment en visionnant cette vidéo, je n'ai pas vu le temps passer en vous regardant réaliser cet ensemble de toiles. Je fais du scrapbooking (style vintage) et recycle toutes sortes de matières sur des cartes, petites toiles, paper snippet rolls, ou autres supports, alors tous ces papiers déchirés, ça me parle complètement. Hola mi querido parisino. Que buena manera de acabar un Lunes viendo un vídeo como este. Precioso collage, a cual de ellos más bonito y juntos quedan preciosos. A mi me encanta esta técnica del collage, de cuatro recortes salen piezas monísimas y como siempre digo, parece fácil pero no lo es. Y no me digas que no queda chulo cuando le plantas alguna textura, lo pintorrejeas, le pones geso 🤣en fin, que me lío 😅Un abrazo grande!!

Hola Sergio !! he visto de nuevo el vídeo y me cuesta salir de mi asombro como asombroso es éste trabajo tuyo. Como dominas esta técnica, que no se trata de ir pegando elementos en el lienzo, sino que hay que construir una armonía atractiva. Pienso cumplir la promesa y para ello supongo que lo primero será hacer acopio de materiales según la idea que quiera expresar. Desearía que me aconsejaras sobre el tamaño del lienzo ideal para empezar y si se puede hacer en madera. Bueno Sergio son muchas cosas tu me perdonaras si soy un poco acaparador, se que tienes muchos seguidores para responder. Respeto mucho el arte y quiero hacerlo bien. Puedes usar, un carton, una tela entelada, madera, en definitiva el soporte que mas te guste ! yo aconsejo empezar con un tamaño pequeño al principio, pero depende de las personas, algunas les sale mejor trabajar en un formato mayor ! de que tipo de persona seras tu ? un abrazo y hasta luego ! Amazing, so imaginative. The stuff you are using to glue the pieces is that a Matt medium gel? Could pva glue be used or does Matt medium give a better result? Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, I used matte medium for this collage. PVA glue can also be used, but matte medium often gives a smoother finish and better durability, especially for layering and sealing. It also helps to maintain the texture and color of the pieces. Hope that helps!

As for your question, I typically use Matte Medium from Liquitex it work well for me and provide a strong hold for the collaged elements. I've been using it for years for my collages. You can glue it under and more importantly over the pieces. Matter of fact over the whole surface. You can use a lot of it. The more wet, the better. At first it will become a little uneven at times. But the surface will stretch out and become completely flat after drying. Keep up the great work. 👌Greetings from Germany.

While I was trying to follow the conversation with my half Spanish, I could see how much effort put into this work Sergio. This is just my incompetence, no one should be upset 😂😂. Waouuuh ! Le résultat est magnifique, c'est très harmonieux, bravo ! Quel bon moment en visionnant cette vidéo, je n'ai pas vu le temps passer en vous regardant réaliser cet ensemble de toiles. Je fais du scrapbooking (style vintage) et recycle toutes sortes de matières sur des cartes, petites toiles, paper snippet rolls, ou autres supports, alors tous ces papiers déchirés, ça me parle complètement. Et oui, parfois mes choix peuvent sembler un peu étranges, mais c'est tout le plaisir de l'art expérimental! Hola mi querido parisino. Que buena manera de acabar un Lunes viendo un vídeo como este. Precioso collage, a cual de ellos más bonito y juntos quedan preciosos. A mi me encanta esta técnica del collage, de cuatro recortes salen piezas monísimas y como siempre digo, parece fácil pero no lo es. Y no me digas que no queda chulo cuando le plantas alguna textura, lo pintorrejeas, le pones geso 🤣en fin, que me lío 😅Un abrazo grande!!

Hola Sergio !! he visto de nuevo el vídeo y me cuesta salir de mi asombro como asombroso es éste trabajo tuyo. Como dominas esta técnica, que no se trata de ir pegando elementos en el lienzo, sino que hay que construir una armonía atractiva. Pienso cumplir la promesa y para ello supongo que lo primero será hacer acopio de materiales según la idea que quiera expresar. Desearía que me aconsejaras sobre el tamaño del lienzo ideal para empezar y si se puede hacer en madera. Bueno Sergio son muchas cosas tu me perdonaras si soy un poco acaparador, se que tienes muchos seguidores para responder. Respeto mucho el arte y quiero hacerlo bien. Puedes usar, un carton, una tela entelada, madera, en definitiva el soporte que mas te guste ! yo aconsejo empezar con un tamaño pequeño al principio, pero depende de las personas, algunas les sale mejor trabajar en un formato mayor ! de que tipo de persona seras tu ? un abrazo y hasta luego ! Amazing, so imaginative. The stuff you are using to glue the pieces is that a Matt medium gel? Could pva glue be used or does Matt medium give a better result? Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, I used matte medium for this collage. PVA glue can also be used, but matte medium often gives a smoother finish and better durability, especially for layering and sealing. It also helps to maintain the texture and color of the pieces. Hope that helps!

What kind of glue/medium are you using to paste the papers down with?

As for your question, I typically use Matte Medium from Liquitex it work well for me and provide a strong hold for the collaged elements. Wallpaper glue. The grainy kind with water. Much better.

I've been using it for years for my collages. You can glue it under and more importantly over the pieces. Matter of fact over the whole surface. You can use a lot of it. The more wet, the better. At first it will become a little uneven at times. But the surface will stretch out and become completely flat after drying. Keep up the great work. 👌Greetings from Germany.
