I was also having issues with Zoom in/out and changed line 1025 and 1026 of labelimg.py
changed to:
h_bar.setValue(int(new_h_bar_value))
v_bar.setValue(int(new_v_bar_value))
and solved my issue.
I'm using Py3.12.

the original repo was archived and migrated to something else ... i guess thats why ( the one is now label-studio )
