Thankyou . Im buying one for my mum between me and her 5 grandchildren. Its been difficult to find the best one within our budget . This was very helpful
Thank you so very much for this comparison. I wasn't sure which to get since quartz had some healing properties, but the blossom and comprehensive flourish of metal so overwhelms it made my decision very easy. Crystal/quartz is very pretty, but goodness! The metal resonates fully. Much appreciated, friend.
Thank you for this video! Are there certain frequencies that you feel are better suited to healing over others? Any particular scale or combination of tones that a newbie could consider when purchasing? Thank you!
When you strike the crystal, I feel nothing. When you strike the metal, I feel it instantly. Making the crystal bowl sing, I feel irritated. Making the metal sing, I feel relaxed. It just feels and sounds much more pleasing.
My preference is metal. I describe why in this article: www.soundmedicineacademy.com/pages/sound-healing-blog?p=hacking-the-brain-with-the-sound-of-himalayan-singing-bowls
Hi, what software did you use to capture/playback the recordings? What type of metal bowl is this? I understand the healing/therapy grade Tibetan bowls are hand-made using a mixture of metals, whereas the tourist-grade are machine-made. I wonder what the difference in sound output is! Any thoughts what the functional difference on the body would be between using a bowl (crystal or metal) versus speakers? i.e. could you get similar health benefits if you generate the frequency on a computer and listen from some quality speakers.. or is there something else that the bowls provide?
Would I be able to play a Crystal singing bowl along with a Tibetan singing bowl? Like, could I play them together if they harmonized with each other? Or do I only have to play crystal singing bowls together to make them harmonize? I bought my Crystal singing bowl to try and see if I can play it along with other musical instruments. Like a piano, or with my singing voice, or any instrument like that.
These are completely different instruments but I would say, why not try to play them together. Every case is unique, so I can't predict if they will sound good together.

That doesn’t sound like a very good crystal bowl in the sample. I could hear scratching of the striker over the bowl tone. I don’t think that bowl is an example of quality healing bowl and therefore we don’t know the quality of the Tibetan bowl either. Although your testing method is good, the quality of the tools producing the vibration is questionable. I would like to see the same comparison with a good quality crystal bowl such as a Crystal Tones bowl played with a silicon striker compared to a Handmade highest quality Tibetan Bowl. They would be the examples of tools that are being used by practitioners for healing. 🙏
Thank you for your question. It is indeed fair observation. I offer the analysis of an Alchemy Golden crystal bowl in this article (see below). You will be amazed how NOT harmonious even the most expensive glass bowls are. Get yourself ready :). bellsofbliss.com/blogs/good-to-know/bronze-versus-crystal-singing-bowls

Thank you for your feedback. Please consider the fact that crystal singing bowls are technically nothing but glass!
This is good stuff you’re doing the lords work!
Thank you so much.

Thank you for your question. All frequencies matter. All intervals matter.

I also prefer the metal. for resonant tuning ( humming or om with the tone of the bowl ) I sync up much nicer with metal

Do you know about different metals?
Handmade Tibetan singing bowls always best
I bought my bowls from India maayaa healing school in Rishikesh
They have very good metal bowls

They don't. Himalayan singing bowls are made of Bronze.
