Based on form, Egonu is the best player in the world as of now, better than Zhu Ting and Tijana Boskovic. She has matured as a player and is not so emotional than in the past and making fewer errors.

clearly she is the best opposite spiker and she and Zhu is incomparable. They have different role just because Egonu scores with more power doesn't mean she is the best player.

She hits the oblique line or a large middle line over the top of the block when she's in the frontcourt, and attacks a straight line in the backcourt attack . The Japanese team knows how to defense her.
I thought of the same but Japanese Team was still having hard time stopping Egonu. On their past matches, Egonu has never been blocked by the Japanese Team and when her hits got digged it bounces away from the court. She's not just about hitting but she really has a power to hit.
Even Zhu Ting and Legendary Coach Lang Ping are scared of her. They really need a tough preparation to stop this MVP.

I think Egonu is the second best,for me it's tijana boskovic in the first,Because Paola is in a team where she is the only star,that's why she is know more better,but tijana on the other hand,has a team with well known players like mijalovic(sorry for the spelling)and she still shines even though of many players.Egonu carries her team better but boskovic is better in gameplay❤️
