Good video!! I always wanted to be an instructor as a kid... of course life gets in the way, but now 35 years old I still think of being a diving instructor lol... evening though I can't go full time teaching because of my area career and lifestyle.. I still would love to do it part time. Also I think it will give me a reason to learn more about scuba diving, And dive more! Personal goals 🙂
Honestly it’s never too late to continue learning and building yourself up. Most instructors do scuba training as a part time gig, with the main exception being those living on the coast, an island country, or they own their own shop/liveaboard. My oldest instructor just turned 75 and he’s still diving strong. Just got to commit to your dreams - you got this! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
does it worth to be an assistant instructor or better to go directly to OWSI? also if I chose to be an assistant instructor first, will it not be cost-efficient?
Thats a good idea! Just make sure to watch all of my instructor video conent, I chat about it there. One thats good is : th-cam.com/video/lJrgsK7cOH4/w-d-xo.html
Vegan Diver Katt oh sorry about that. do you recommend getting a computer if I’m only going in max 10ft I am PADI certified but like I’m just curious if I need a computer there expensive but I wanna make sure if I need it or not for 3m dives
Hello, I’m 16 and really want to become a diving instructor when I finish my studies at sixth form, my only worry is what happens after twenty years when I have finished as I won’t have an income coming in and I won’t get a pension, do you have any plans?
Hi! I actually have two degrees : undergraduate in physics and postgraduate in education. For me diving was always a passion and a hobby. I have plans b,C,d, and E of what to do after or during. I think it's important to consider what you so want to be doing in your life long term. I do have some friends which stayed in diving though, you can work in Padi, become a manager at a dive shop, continue into teaching instructors, etc
It’s amazing to have watched you grow over the last few years. You have been instrumental in helping me achieve my diving goals
Yes please do a video about things you have seen go wrong very interested as hoping to start my diving career later this year
Okay! I'll add that to the list. Some of the things I've seen go wrong.

Hello there can you make a video on like decompression disease and risks and how to avoid them?
Decompression illness? Sure. Unfortunately that is a big part of the course, and I don't want people to think that watching a video is sufficient :)

@@Tyming Why are you going to be doing 3m dives? For any scuba dives, you should definitely use a dive computer or at least a depth gauge
Vegan Diver Katt and it’s in lakes and river
Are you finding time to help with animals that was in the fire there? Dave USA
I am very far away from the fires, I am on the other side of Australia. So no chance apart from financial help
Ssi vs padi vs sdi and why some choose others
Please fix the poor sound quality!
