Sad story. When Michael White's form dropped like a stone I thought there was something wrong. Domestic violence is awful and I hope he learns his lessons in jail. When he gets his life and professional card back I hope he is a reformed character.
Whilist I dont condone his actions with his then partner, I really dont see what it has to do with the WPBSA, people dont get fired from their jobs when having fights with their partners, then rewind to Higgins match fixing and he clearly fixed matches for financial gain, and it he got away with it, seems one rule for one and one for another, plus all the players do nothing but blow smoke up his arse, look at Alex Higgins and the fights he got into with officials, Jimmy drugged up, etc, etc
By writing that comment, you are condoning his crimes. Not actions, crimes. His methodical, calculated, cold and cruel abuse of his partner. For people like myself, who have been victims and are now survivors of domestic abusers like this animal, your comment is sickening.
@@danielkarmy4893 no I do not condone any criminal behaviour what so ever, and the law has taken care of that whatever he's done, but as a professional snooker player who is essentially self employed , this will stop him earning for that period, in my opinion has nothing to do with the WPBSA, they are snookers governing body, and should stick to snooker matters, they are not the law, a different crime and we do know the details of Higgins match fixing got no meaningfull ban, and has been allowed to carry on his career, unfortunately this video doesnt elaborate on what the circumstances are of Micheal Whites crime on his partner, let me be clear its not ok to break the law.

So, being as you didn't correct the gormless fool, I will. Higgins never fixed a match. He spoke about it. 14 Chinese players, Mark King and Stephen Lee have been found guilty of actual match fixing and potentially financially benefiting from it.

Nobody deserves to be a victim of mental or physical abuse, that is a given. Hopefully, if the story is as black and white as they are making out that his ex gets the help she needs and White gets sometime to reflect and grow into a proper human being.
