- Making TH-cam content in old operating systems and devices tends to be a hassle. In the past, there have been programs not working, systems crashing and audio issues, but not this time. Windows ME aka "Windows 98 2" finally gives us some functionality, with an actual working Windows Movie Maker! Working internet like every other video?... who needs it...

Next, TH-cam in 2009 (Windows 7) and TH-cam in 1993 (Windows NT 3.1).
Windows 7 is still 100% functional and even still gets chrome updates, I don't think he will be doing that anytime soon because his goal is to do this stuff on a challenging os. As for windows NT however, I definitely see him doing that

@erik masterchef Windows is trash and still holds ideas and philosophies from the 70s, and yeah. There is OSX and Linux and BSD and other Unix like alternatives because windows is simply trash.. the only reason its still relevant today is its "ease of usability" and the fact that we grew up with it

The reason why WMM (Windows Movie Maker) didn’t work in 2006 (correction) on Windows Vista is because you didn’t have a version that had SATA drivers for it. I know this because I have a Windows XP ISO file that has the SATA drivers which makes WMM work. I don’t remember where I got the ISO to be honest, but I’m pretty sure the website was not secure, so if I ever find a copy for Windows Vista, XP or some OS that has SATA drivers (not the new operating systems, like Windows 8 or Windows 10), I will let you know.
If it’s a copy of Windows XP or Windows Vista, you might have to do like a part two or a recreation of those videos, but for now, I’m trying to find some operating system ISO’s for you so you can continue this series cause I really enjoy it 😉.

The colours were messed up because Windows ME is most probably on 16 colour. For things to show properly you need to set Windows ME to 32-bit in the display settings. (Depends on video card)
It looked like he was on virtual box because he still doesn’t have the display drivers
