      Been playing a 202 for 5 years. Bought off thomann in 2018. Really didn't like the floyd so I just locked it to not move. Overall it has a nice tone with the emg pickups. As a budget guitar it has some low quality parts though

      Sometimes floyds can be a pain. If you're having tuning issues, or can't get it level with the body, sometimes you have to add an extra spring

    I have a kh-202 that says made in china and it literally has a mix of both features you just pointed out.. lol they probably just use what they have or maybe a specific run had extra parts so they ship them elsewhere to a different factory... or now that i think about it, it seems that my 202 has the body from a korean and the neck of a chinese one.. i wonder if the body has markings of where it was made.. i bought it brand new from sam ash about 15 yrs ago.. it has all black hardware, it has the licensed floyd, it has wood finish bolt neck no paint on it.. the back cover for tension adjust has no holes for easy adjusting.. the volume knobs are further away from the pickup.. interesting

      Sounds to me it could be one of the first ones they produced in china, after switching from Korea. They've definitely made alterations to the design over the years

      Any of their cheapest models are made in china. Anymore their mid lines are made in china also. Go look at the George Lynch Tiger GL-200, about $800, made in china

      @DeweyJHall1 I have an ltd h1001 made in Korea,and an ltd ec256 made in Indonesia was 850 Canadian. Are epiphones all made in China, was wondering cause im in love with white and gold less paul epiphone with Seymour Duncan's used for @ 850. Chinese stuff is no longer crap like they had the rep of? What do you think?

    • @DeweyJHall1
      @DeweyJHall1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@duanehole3390 Most of epiphones are all made in china. Some of the signature models where made in indonesia. I'm not sure if they still are. If you can get the serial number of the LP, you can find out where it's made. If its a new guitar, then the website should say where it's made. The branded China guitars are pretty good anymore. They still won't match a Korean made guitar tho. Usually the fret work is the weakest link on a china guitar. That's been my experience. I've bought, sold, and repaired guitars for a decade at this point
