Omg I would be so madddddd i didn’t at least say hi! Were you shy or just didn’t want to bug them? I think I’d say hi, but it depends on how they were/ I would never bug someone while they were out to eat and i would have to assess the situation before talking to them while they were with their family and had their child with them.

When she's ready to start walking, you should get her Squeak shoes from Amazon or aliexpress. My daughter was slow to walk, but she LOVED the squeak of the shoes. They were also suuuuper useful for when we were walking in public, I could hear where she was at all time.

@@lizbethvilchis when I got them for my daughter, they were like $20 a pair. She's 7 now, but I am soooo glad I had them. You should look into them! I promise you won't regret it.
You might want to be careful picking the right type of shoes for your baby though as it’s slowly learning to walk. Shoes have a huge impact on the alignment of your child’s feet and legs, so just something to note when you place your orders. 🙂
when i got my kitten about a year ago, she also was 8 weeks and she looked just as tiny as lil Blaze does. She was the runt, so it's pretty possible that Blaze is too! ☺
Your little kitty is precious! Just be aware that when kittens are taken away from their moms too early they are more likely to play too aggressively. Just be sure to play with toys with him and not your hands, if he bites or uses his claws throw a toy for him and gain some space. He’ll soon learn it’s not okay to use his claws or teeth. Best of luck with your new addition 🥰 IM SURE he’s much better off with you rather than the seller even though he was taken too early.

Girl we got our dog from craigslist too & he still had worms after the lady said he was dewormed this is a very common occurrence on Craigslist its shady but we love our baby boy very much & hes healthy as ever he turned 5 this March
same omg they told us he was 8 weeks (old enough to be separated from his mom) but he looked like a new born AND he had worms
he turns 5 in a couple months!
They can be dewormed and still have them, you usually have to deworm twice several weeks apart. Some pets are so infested it can take several dewormings to work. My pup had to be dewormed 4 times (severe infestation) within a week and then another one about 3-4 weeks after. Also for puppies and I'm pretty sure for kittens they use a dewormer that usually doesn't kill tapeworms and will need a different one for tapeworms, I know we always have to specify we want Drontal Plus for tapeworm included.
Sorry, I just don't want everyone to think badly of craigslist because without that some animals may not get homes. Yes some people are bad and scammers, but their are others that are truthful.
Best bet with anyone you're getting a pet from is to always get the records for the vet, even the proof they gave or sold dewormer really helps.

LOVE that the vet footed the bill, and isn’t just a Money hungry vet that’s dishonest about the level of care the animals need. I don’t even think you should pay the isolation fee, because of all the added stress they put on you while on vacation. Very nice of you to offer or insist. I probably would have too, but I’m sure that’s why the vet didn’t want you to pay anything, because the babe was misdiagnosed and kinda mistreated at first and he wanted to make it right.

We got a kitten when he was 8 weeks of just under and he really had no social skills. Not litter trained and not very good at playing gently. A couple of months later we got a second cat and honestly it changed his life- he had a friend who could teach him the way of life as a cat. I would never get a kitten under 12 weeks because of that. If he becomes tricky and unmanageable don’t give up and consider getting a second cat! Our cat would have definitely ended up at a shelter because of how he was when we got him but now he is the most beautiful and loving cat that I have met!

she lied bc shes breaking the law. in nevada, it’s illegal to to sell, trade, or give away an animal before it is 8 weeks old. if the kitten can no longer be in its mother’s care, it still cannot leave a vet/shelter/foster until it reaches 8 weeks. he seems to be well behaved but keep in mind that kittens taken from its mother and siblings too early can make them more likely to claw/bite and they may be fearful of or less tolerant of other cats. thankfully this mainly means you’ll just have to spend a lil extra time teaching him manners
Dogs are like that too but I got mine when he was 7 weeks old and he’s not aggressive lol
And i think Nessa already knows that lol she literally said that you don’t usually give cats away before they’re 8 weeks

This happened to me before only the kitten I got from a friend was left alone in a parking lot. I think she was probably 4 weeks old. So tiny like him! I had been mixing kitten formula with her kibble. Unfortunately her mama was nowhere to be seen and left 3 kittens behind. Totally worth it though once she had her vet visit. Glad to see your family growing 💖

I knew that cat was 4 weeks at the most like damn... sometimes craigslist ppl are great (personal experience) but other times not so much lol. I got my husky from an awesome breeder from craigslist & when we got another one she was from a different "breeder" and was soooo underweight & sick. shes chillin' now tho lmao.
Yall...my oldest got a mainecoone mix. He's just grand...big boy...flowing hair. Trust me...it's a lot of upkeep. Just sayin. Worth it tho...Crowley is an amazing kitty!!

He might have feline aids. Typically those cats are chill except when going through a stressful change, they look really sick & get sick, but then get better immediately after. My in law’s cat has it & she’s ancient & still kicking.
