In general, stores like this are a ripoff. Not only do you pay a convenience fee, but you’re up charged by their overhead, rent payment, lights, employee pay, etc. Having said that, this is the guy I’d wanna give some business to and deal with. He’s the least scummy/douchey out of all the big sneaker store owners and trust me I’ve known/spoken to/done business with them all
All we can do is our best. We’re not trying to make our personal dreams come true, but as well as our staff and provide for our families doing something we love to do.
Not really by the time you pay for fees on apps like goat and stock x then most of the time they are actually cheaper
Depends entirely on the store you go to. Most places around me only charge a convenience fee on very rare sneakers, otherwise its market price plus local sales tax, which is same as if you were to buy from stockx or something, and most places let you do trades so its even better.
CaptianInfidel if you pay cash most stores don’t charge tax. That’s what I do. And I don’t mind paying a little over StockX prices because I get the product right then and there

I really respect the culture evolving, I be honest I came from where this clothes, shoes, art is not even recognizable, I love dance freestyle or hip hop dance, but I always asked myself what are those shoes and clothes, it looks dope, that’s where I start loving this, but I didn’t have enough money to even buy a pair of Vans. I worked hard, now I work in a company who works with all types of brands clothes and shoes. TH-cam opened my mind discovered channels like this and other youtubers who has the knowledge and share to people like me who doesn’t anything about clothes and shoes. Its my dream to own a sneaker store, much like everything in life, a majority of it is having start up money. Be able to buy initial inventory, be able to buy people out that come in, be able to afford all the behind the scenes expenses. After that is way easier, its getting to that point thats hard.
Richie I love that the shop is open during this COVID seasons so people can kind of feel normal because they get to go out to the store and browse, buy, and just have fun in general. I hope one day I can go and take a peak at the shop. I really want to be a hypebeast and be in style.
I remember mag park had a pop up shop at my local mall. I played on their key master and won some blue tint yeezys for around $25 ! A year later I won some shadows for $10 😂
Definitely need to go check out this shop in the future!

My man wasn’t lying about people visiting shoe stores because a certain person went there. I went to Seattle for the first time and had to visit the BAIT store over there because of Richie and his crew. Chopped it up with one of the workers for an hour. Huge influences.

How does a consignment store price there sneakers that they buy from resellers or just people in general, I see resellers selling to sneaker stores but it seems like it would be better to have clientele and not just depend on sneaker stores too buy your shoe. So what are some of the reasons a sneaker store would want too buy your shoe? Are they able too charge more then the resale? I don’t want too be that person that thinks I can just sell to sneaker stores. I feel like the sneaker store won’t pay the resale because they won’t really make any money from it.
