Is praying a waste of time considering God has a plan? Is he really going to change his plan because people everywhere ask daily for changes? Just something I've been thinking about lately...
no- God created us to have a relationship with Him- and He wants us to be reliant on Him- to ask- to be involved in our lives- We have that awesome privilege that the unsaved don't have- While God doesn't always answer our requests in the positive, He does answer- and we have to accept that- Can WE forgive God for not answering how we like? (When we turn to God, He forgives us wholly and unconditionally- even when we hated Him before salvation) Where God does answer our prayers how we ask, however- He often waits until we ask in order to answer- to show us that He wants us to turn to Him and rely on Him-
He wants us to seek Him “For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened". Matt 7 Also He says, “ Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you.” Don’t give up friend. His ways are not our ways and His plan is better than our. We walk by FAITH not by sight.
