I'm new you your site and I absolutely love everything you make. I tried using a hobby lobby muti colored mesh it was so thin I couldn't work with. What technique would you use with thin mesh? Thank you 😊
Hello and thank you for watching Linda. I would recommend using a ruffle or cruffle method and you'll need to use a bit more of it than if it were a better quality. So I would go with 25-30 inch pieces.
Thank you so much for responding. I tried the crinkle and it slides from side to side looks bad. I will definitely try the crinkle. Just watched your lavender bunny wreath it's beautiful.
Hi from NH, Love the wreath!!! You mentioned you like your kitchen to do your work. To get me out of my kitchen, I have a Husky work table. It has a handle that moves the top up and down to desired height. Its 6 ft long...24 " wide. Butcher block top with black metal legs. Got it at Home depot in the tool section. Love it. I use a bar stool/chair with it. Just an idea for you.
I’m enjoying watching you on replay, and plan to follow you on fb, too. Just a suggestion for future videos...it is very difficult to see the dark wreath frame against your black apron. It would be very helpful if you were wearing a lighter color so we could better see the wreath frame as you hold it up to show us. When the wreath is laying on the lighter table, you can see it just fine. Hope you find this helpful. I look forward to watching more of your tutorials!
Beautiful wreath! love the colors and the easter sign!! I looked on Jane's site to look at her signs and it said 'not taken any orders at this time... I just made a wreath the other day for our granddaughter🤗❤ she wanted a unicorn wreath with lights.the unicorn plays a song. i also fixed it to where she can take it off and play with. you can .look up my facebook and look at it!! let me know what you think!!! xoxoxox
I watched your video on TH-cam back when you found out that your friend had just found out that she had breast cancer. I was touched by the fact that you stopped and had prayer for her. I am a Christian too and I believe in the power of prayer. Have you heard from her since that day? I pray that she is doing well. I just had a cousin to go through breast cancer and she had the most extensive type of cancer. Her treatment was so bad that she had a hard time. Now, she has had a double mastectomy and is cancer free. God is good and her faith is strong.

Love your wreath. I like being able to see the mesh and not covering up that work of the ruffles. Kathy from Virginia oh I picked up a few tips.
I do too. If you're just creating a base of mesh for the purpose of showcasing ribbons, that's different and doesn't require a lot of mesh to do that.

do you spray your mesh
I usually don't spray my mesh, but I am starting to use a wood burning tool that helps to melt the edges so it wont fray.
No I do not, but have heard that some use e6000 to help with fraying or using a wood burning tool which helps so much!
I have a friend who used the wood burner for her wreaths she sells, and said to always wear a mask. She got pneumonia and a lung infection. Burning of the plastic in the mesh lets off a chemical that can harm your lungs and also pets in the room. I hate the fraying too. I wish someone could invent a mesh that does not fray!!
