    Those first mulches are the cats meow! it makes cutting with a slasher and a chainsaw look primitive. It'll be interesting to see how the deer use those new trails and open areas for bedding

    I've probably seen Aaron a couple times years ago. I still hunt east of Paris. And when I started hunting, like he said a time or two, we used to be able to go to check stations and look at other deer till our turn to check a deer in

      I worked with several Troopers that was into the weight lifting thing. Most of them just wanted to look pretty for their girlfriends. Not sure if the wives also liked the muscled up look too
      Edit: Correction. Green shirt guy practices jui jitsu. Wrestlers wear headguards preventig cartilage damage to their ears, fighters dont. His ears would reshape to normal if the blood was drained from the ear

    I love the ryobi lol. I started with a poulan wild thing. They all work, except when they don’t which you’ll probably find out and get a better saw one day. Til then let her eat lol.

    I have several Stihl chainsaws, as well as an all new respect for you sir for owning the usage of that Ryobi chainsaw. If it gets the job done, use it. Plus, if youre not working it hard, itll be well worth the money. And money saved there can go into hunting equipment/deer tags/ and in the time of "Brandon", youll need the gas money!

    Hay we burn early winter & spring every other year but we burn the timber every 3 years. It helps alot in my book and keeps dead fall cleanup and fire hazard down to a point.

    I will also be hunting with a fire hardened hickory bow this season. Grew up shooting traditional glass bows, making your own wood bow is not that difficult and it is very rewarding to hunt with. With all the TH-cam videos on bow making that is out there today anyone can learn to do it if you wanted to. To do it well is difficult and will take time, but the information is more accessible than ever before. I bet that guy would help you guys finish a bow up that he had about half finished and maybe you try and kill a deer with it on your channel, I think that would be pretty awesome.

      That's great Sean! Been making stickbows off and on for 25 years. It is very rewarding getting a kill with one. The Traditional Bowyers Bibles are good resources to make all kinds of trad bows. Good luck this season!

    I had a brush hog called a browns tree cutter on a 50hp tractor an cut paths like that it will change how the deer travel not completely but the definitely take the path of least resistance

      If them bees are yellow jackets better gear up because they stalk you unlike honey bees. Chase you out of circle and outside field house and half way home. I learned about them the hard way.

    You can’t beat hickory for a good self bow!! Its the the perfect wood for a beginning bowyer, you can make lots of mistakes and still get a bow out of it.

    I've always wanted to make my own spear and kill a deer with it,I've been so close to deer I could have definitely gotten one with a spear but I don't think 🤔 the laws will allow that,does anyone know any different, maybe in certain states? I just looked it up, you can spear in Alabama, Hawaii, Nebraska and Oklahoma and also Canada!
