Basically one group shipped Ayato and Yae and the other group of people kept saying that Yae is a lesbian and it eventually escalated into Ayato X Yae shippers getting sent gore and death threats and that kinda of stuff
Overall the whole thing was a mess

Personally, I don't rlly ship Yae with anyone, doesn't feel to me like she particularly fits with Ei or Ayato as a romantic partner
Im just saying that sending gore and writing rape fanfics like the other person here mentioned - it's a bit too much just for people shipping different characters together and I don't really want ZZZ's ships to end up the same as Genshin ships

If Seth and "Jane" knew eachother more I would've accepted this and make this ship cannon... But... They don't really know eachother so much.. Jane didn't even tell him her real name, sine "Jane Doe" is the Female version of John Doe, a place holder for nameless or unknown people "an average ordinary woman," or an "unidentified patient" or "crime victim". maybe we should wait it out a bit and see if they get to know eachother better, because it's to early!

To be honest, im not really seeing it. Im completley fine with the fandom having head canons, people shipping them and what not. But their interactions arent even flirty or romantic, more like playful banter. Like the kind of shit i'd pull with my friends. These two are more like partners than a romantic couple. Maybe eventually they do develope feelings for each other? either way im really fine with both. However in my opinion we need more healthy, fun, quirky platonic relationships in media, not just romance all the time. Just because two characters have a good chemistry doesnt mean they are in love, and i mean this for both gay and straight people.
Would normally agree with you 100%. Media Fandoms seems to mostly ignore platonic relationships in favor of jumping to romantic pairings, which gets incredibly stifling. Personally, am routing for more from these two's dynamic since I feel like we don't get as many "straight" non-mc pairings. But at this point I'd just settle for more chemistry between characters in general as opposed to having everything orbit around self-insert mc's.
Every ship you see is made out of the characters just having playful banter. They go well together and I like the cat and mouse duo.
Finally, a reasonable opinion.
