I feel like Cortex Island should've had crash 1 graphics instead of generic pixelization.
I think the reason why they didn't do that was because they thoght they might acidentally make it a bit too hard, harder than normal.

See, Pixelization is just a filter. Making it Crash 1 Graphics would require the entire level alongside its enemies to be re-modeled for the N-Verted mode

See what I mean? I have no idea what those styles in Tranquility Falls and Bermugula's Orbit are called.
Tranquility falls seems to be based on Japanese art.
Bermugula's orbit kind of reminds me of space themed comic books

When I first saw the Eggipus Dimension in N Verted mode, my first thought was
"Oh snap, we're in a children's coloring book"

Honestly this mode actually looks really cool.
Yeah but it’s still cool to look at, even if it makes it harder to tell where you’re going, but even then there’s still the yellow circle.

What the hell is this game doing?
The real content is the map is inverted and the hidden stuff is relocated. To complete the game in 100%, you need to explore the whole game again. The effects is just there to bugging players a little. Also, the inverted map may sound not much of an affect to exploring but boy in late game stages, you need to practice the whole thing again.
I feel like these styles are inspired of other games, (like the one when you need to spin to literally give color to the world)

I Love those ones that actually affect the gameplay. Those tones hat are not only visual. So creative 😍
my least favorite addition to the new game honestly, it makes it really tedious since you have to replay all the levels but with annoying filters (some of them are cool, but a lot are just annoying), and they even have their own relics, so you'd need to beat a level like Snow Way Out 8 times perfectly to get everything (normal mode, N Verted Mode, Cortex version, N Verted Cortex Version, their time trials)
I don't dislike the new game, it's probably my favorite game in the series, but this is my least favorite thing about it

I just want to clarify that N Verted levels do not have time trials, and their N Sanely Perfect relics are shared with the normal versions.
Personally I enjoy the N Verted modes because I already know the box locations, the gems are in a new spot which is fun to look for, and it can be a funner way to get the Nsanely Perfect relic.
You know what? Only 3 N. Verted Modes actually affects gameplay. Vision (N. Sanity Island) Reaction and Timing (Mosquito Marsh and SN@XX Dimension)
@@undefind3426 the latter two are good, and I guess N Sanity Island one is alright, also the Pirate one doesn't change much but is a bit fun, the others are meh though, especially the Wasteland and Dinosaur one, they're just weird filters

It sort of works like modern day pixels, just with CMYK instead of RGB. the printers was based on pointillism from the late 1800s

Woah! llevo más de 20 años jugando Crash, y aunque he perdido el interés por los videojuegos durante muchos años, éste es el juego que me hará tratar de comprar una consola de la actual (ya casi pasada) generación. Siento que me he preparado toda mi vida para este juego, como supongo tú también. Sólo me pregunto una cosa: realmente es tan fácil? o tú lo haces ver así de fácil?, no tengo idea porque desconozco cómo se sienten los controles.
De fácil tiene poco, creo q es mi juego favorito de la saga.
No es fácil, de hecho debe de ser el más difícil hasta ahora
Probablemente ya lo tienes, pero no cuesta nada: al llegar al segundo mundo la curva de dificultada crece hasta el cielo, los primeros 2 niveles son fáciles, en el 3er nivel pasa de ser un crash común a ser el crash más difícil de toda la saga (si, incluso más que el original)

Actually, to be exact, I think it’s a homage to Rotoscoping, an animation style where you copy the movement of real life actors via footage by tracing over it, usually with hand drawn animation. Look at Snow White and the other early Disney Princess movies (pre-renaissance era) for instance to see what I mean
To be exact, we took inspiration from a child's draw with wax pastels. I tried to make it feel like he would have drawn the path.
And it really worked, I watched this 1 or 2 days before buying the game 'cause Hype reasons. When I played that stage, it was nicer than just watch on a video.

Tbh they should have cut these. These are cool, but playing the exact same level with a different hidden gem placement sucks. I already have to play these levels again for the time relics, I don’t need to play these three times.

This game forces some players to replay the same level over and over again until there's no fun to it, I don't like this mode, the flashback tapes were a nice addition but replaying the same levels with annoying filters really bothers me. Secret levels after the 100% completion would be so much nicer...
Yeah. I liked them at first since they were interesting and cool. But they are playing the level again.

i was going to on my second playthrough but getting 50+ deaths on some of the levels put me off on the relics lol and i cant imagine trying to rush through them

It hurts my brain, it hurts my eyes, and it hurts my feelings each time I have to replay very difficult stages with 100% completion all over again with INVERTED layout.

Feels like there's too much happening in a simple crash bandicoot game. Idk i havent played it yet, and im not that interested in it. Levels look crowded, characters look weird, and this mod just looks annoying to play with
Main story is like a normal crash game actually, this is just a game mode you unlock, it's like a challenge (no, its not a mod)
