This is great because I’m about to go to WGU for my bachelors and then I’m researching future NP schools and this is very informative. I will Walden in my prospect school
Yassssssssss!!!!! Workit... workit!!!! You got this babe. Keep me posted with your journey! 💕
Mom Nay I actually found out Walden has a program that helps ADN nurses go straight into NP school without already having a bachelors so I think Walden is the move. Hey how how does it go for preceptorship? Do they help or do you need to find people who will take you in?
I am starting my MSN- NP program in Psych from Walden starting April 6. I am so excited and anxious about the online experience.
Congratulations! Would you know how long the MSN-NP program is? I'm trying to decide MSN or DNP program psychiatric.
New Subbie Great information
Nice video thank you. Still trying to choose schools I want to do both the adults primary and psych dunno which to do first
YVONNE BRUCE Just go for it. You can do adult primary then get a certification on psych. My coworker is currently getting certified as a psych NP. She is attending a brick and mortar school.
Mom Nay I got accepted to psych NP school in super excited starts in November yassss I’m ready for this life gurl ❤️
I am currently in the FNP program at walden. I will be finished this coming Nov.
Can you make a separate video elaborating your reasons why you chose agnp over fnp? My concern with agcnp are fewer prospects vs fnp but I've heard that the latter's job market is getting saturated.
Hi kababayan! 🇵🇭 💕 I talk a little bit about why Im going AGPCNP vs FNP route on my other videos. I only have a couple of reasons really, I have no interest with the pediatrics population. I didn’t see the need of spending my time clinically with the adorable lil’ cutie population. Job prospective wise, there’s plenty in my area.
Can you do a video of step by step process of the application process? Thank you!
Hi, I’m so happy I found your channel!!! I will be starting the AGNP program at Walden University in January 2021. Did you receive the $4000 grant from them? Is it per quarter or once? I currently do not have any student loans and I don’t want to take out any now. Thanks
Hello, I just applied to the AGNP program for January 2021. Are you doing the the acute or primary care?
I start the program next month, is it doable with working full time? Or is the workload too crazy? Thanks
At one point of time, I worked a FT 36 hours 12x3 days with a perdiem job that I commit to 4 x 8hrs shift a month. However, when I took Pharm and Patho together, I had to quit my per diem job because the workload is | was super crazy. I also have a family life that takes priority over school. It is a lot of work but you can do it! Just focus and stay motivated at all times. Good luck. :)
Thank you for this information. How long is this program??
Kristina Dino about 15 to 24 months depending on your lifestyle. I start clinicals September 2020.
How much was the financial aid? Did you get grants?
I think it was $500. I got a few grant but I honestly don’t remember because this was two years ago. 😩 I know I did get some help. 😃
Hey girl hope things are going well. I will be starting the same program in June and I’m registered for the same classes, plz I’ll like to connect with you.
Have you looked into WGU? I started MSN Informatics there. It might be cheaper for you.
Hey I was just accepted into the same school? I’m in the PMHNP program. I start October 12 2020. Would love to connect with a fellow student. How can I send my email to you?
