Naomi can communicate just fine. She has the most expressive face and gestures. I love her interaction with her sister. I really enjoy your videos. Pat from Pa.
Social distancing is so hard on friendly, extroverted little ones! That's too cute that she has a doll that she wants to take everywhere she goes! One of my sisters had a Kewpie doll that was an extra member of the family for a few years.
It sounds as she is doing amazing! She is very intelligent. You know, many times as parents we focus so much on having our kids complete their tasks, but it's very comforting to watch you focusing also on what matters, like you appreciate her having empathy for others. That's the true education we are supposed to teach our kids, values in life. That's what is going to make them go places. Its so hard to find parents that focus on that. Watching you makes me feel better about the way I try to teach me little girl, because I get so many like negativity when they see me understanding her and not punishing her. I appreciate you. You are a GREAT MOM. 🙏
My sister's daughter has Downs and Autism (quite challenging). Her school goal is try to sleep more normally--as in with a blanket--so she doesn't get cold in the night. She is also a very sensitive sleeper!
If you were making a portfolio for her would you put stuff from her therapies in there since you said they are part of school for her? If so what would you put in there?
@@LivingWithEve I do remember that people down has heart problems along with being prone to thyroid issues and leukemia. People with DS tend to also have very dry skin as well. They also have vision and hearing problems sometimes. Even being prone to obesity and I think maybe because of the thyroid but I’m not sure. I do know a lot of people downs but they are all grown up most of the times and they have jobs they are married and they drive and live on their own and probably have kids or pregnant right now. I’m on the autism spectrum which is different and I’m mild
She’s doing so great! And so good with the play dough! My 2 year old is still warming up to play dough, paint, markers, and crayons haha How did you get approved for multiple speech sessions? Did the doctor just write the RX for multiple weekly sessions?
I love how social she is. She is just so precious.
She will do so good in dance. She lights up a room when she walks in it. I am loving watching her grow.
Naomi’s development and personality sound so much like Sophie! Sophie is also very social, and very empathetic. Naomi has made so much progress! ❤️
It is great that Naomi has 3 older siblings that treat her so loving! It is a really good start in a happy life for Naomi!

Lovely girl!

Yes, I list them out and then any crafts that she puts together in Therapy, I include.
We have done the shorts that pull the legs together with my daughter and she hated them lol I can't blame her though
Oh my Lord! She is so like me! I want to play with her, sing and dance with me.
👍🏻😍
What did she have surgery on?
Open heart surgery. They repeat a very large hole.
