    Have you used more than one Mailchimp Embed form on different pages of your website? What were your results?

      Great Video!! Really helped! I was wondering if you knew how to auto generate product that a customer has purchased to show up in the email for a product review. Basically how to link each individual order to an automation email and then have that email send out automatically with there name and the products why purchased a few days after purchasing for a review?? Thank you so much

      Hi Anise, thanks for the question. In basic terms:
      Step 1. You'll need to integrate Mailchimp with your eCommerce solution.
      Step 2. Once integrated, Mailchimp can then track purchases by contacts.
      Step 3. From there, you can set up automations based on specific product purchased to send email for a review after so many days from purchase date.

    Tried this and it works for having the same form embedded in two different places with different tags. However, the form itself stays the same. There doesn't seem to be any way the two forms can have different fields. I wish MailChimp would allow multiple unique embed forms. Bummer.

    • @LarrySnow

      Hi there - thanks for your comment and confirmation on multiple embed forms. You can select different audience form fields for each embedded form. For example, one embedded form might use email and first name from the available audience fields, another embedded form you might have email, first name, last name, birthday, etc. It all depends on what audience fields you have available to select from.

    • @bmcconnon

      @@LarrySnow Ah, I see now. You can check certain fields to create the html embed code, but then need them all checked in Mailchimp when finished so all forms work correctly. I did this and it works! Thanks so much for the video and the response!

    Hello! I have a question that is sort of related to this video - rather than embedded forms; the form builder.
    I currently have a sign up form created that's in the footer of my webpage and signs people up to my Yoga related email list.
    My question is, that if I go into the form builder and change the background, and change the name, and change where it sends people, and get the new link.... Will the first form I created and put in my footer stop working?
    The forms are throwing me off - because unlike surveys and email templates and journeys where you can see all the different things you've created and go in and edit them... The forms just seem to... replace the last one. It makes me nervous that when I create something new, something I previously set up with disappear.
    Thanks!

      Hello! Thanks for the question. I think Mailchimp is the only email service provider that gives you just one signup form per audience list (grrr). However, in my testing, if you select the form fields, color, etc., and embed the code on your website, then go back in and make changes to the same audience list signup form, the original embedded form should still work as long as you didn't delete any audience fields that are being used by that form.

      @@LarrySnow I was actually able to get their form code from the landing pages working on my landing pages, but it definitely wasn't easy, and no real customization could be done beyond things like width. But they won't even let me send emails - I imported a clean list we've been sending to for years in Keap, and their system is clearly designed to shut down any imported list sends by default. They're dictating what I need to have on my pages/forms down to the micrometer, and refuse to let me send without having each contact reconfirm their subscription - which has to be sent with outside software. This is by far the worst email/landing page system I've ever used.

Can I embed this form on each of the websites using the 3 different tags. I would then create 3 separate journeys in MC that would be triggered by each of the tags? TIA 😊

    Hay Larry, thanks for the awesome video. Something I'm trying to understand is if it is possible to have multiple different forms using Mailchimp. Or is it a matter of: You can only use one embedded form at a time?

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With this testing, I was able to use two embed forms with different tags (vanilla/chocolate). To do so, it is best to disable the JavaScript option. You could certainly use other form plugins that connect to the Mailchimp API with the capability to add tags.

      API or a third party connection like Zapier, Pabbly, etc. depending on if it can connect to the form/website.

    Thanks, Larry.
    This was helpful. I'm trying to do a few things with Mailchimp (and Divi Builder).
    I'd like to have:
    1. - a lead magnet sign-up
    2. - two different price-lists
    3. - and a contact me/like to work w me
    I'd like each to have a different tag so that I can, hopefully, automatically add different segments to my list and serve them with slightly different messaging.
    Is it possible then to create new contacts, tag them and segment them? Or do I have to segment them manually as they come in?

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad it was helpful! Yes! Tagging new contacts is very possible. You can try the embed form with tag for the lead magnet sign up. Then apply automation using the tag as the trigger. Not sure how a price list applies to Mailchimp? For the contact form you can try another embed form with a different tag (turn off JavaScript) or use a form plugin (free or premium - I'm very fond of Jotform 😀) that will allow you to add a tag.
      Segmentation (aka filtering) is something you do to organize your list - so it is a manual process in that you do it once to set it up. For instance, you could segment your audience by geolocation and/or a particular tag to then send an email campaign to that segment. Another example, create a segment of the audience that hasn't opened any of the last 5 campaigns so that you can send a re-engagement email campaign. How the embed forms and other plugins "play" with Divi - I don't know as I never used it.

    Super helpful video! Thank you! I'd like to bypass the Thank You page of the Mailchimp Embed Form after a client subscribes. Do you know if this is possible? For example, show the "Success you're subscribed" message on the same page in place of the form, and have them stay on the same website page instead of being taken to the Thank You page? Thanks! :)

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Karissa! I'm glad you found the video was helpful! Thanks for the question. The thank you page is an option within the sign up form builder, "Forms and Responses" drop down list, called "Confirmation Thank You Page." If you don't have a URL in that field, then a subscriber should see the "Thanks for subscribing" message instead.
