Well it doesn't exactly have a sad ending. Remember that book called 'Being in Time' and the flower that dreams of the moon. At the end of the drama Ma Go Sin said that the flower that dreams of the moon has one more dream to dream, then Gu Chan Seong sees a dream where he and Man Wol are together and all the others are also there happy and smiling. Yeah at first everyone thought it was just his imagination created due to the flower, however, many of us forgot that the flower only showed what has actually happened in Jan Man Wol's life, that means that the dream the flower showed is true, or in other words is a glimpse of Man Wol's future life. To put it simply the flower that dreams of the moon made Gu Chan Seong a 'being in time' by making him witness past, present, and future, through Jang Man Wol's life perspective. When Gu Chan Seong's dreams about her past stopped occurring, that was because that was Jang Man Wol's past until she became the owner of the Inn of the moon, her present also starts from that very moment and has remained at that exact moment for 1300 years, because her time froze, that is why she doesn't age or get sick or hurt, because the age, the health condition she was in at tahg time, her looks everything remained the same for 1300 years because of the time freezing. Since the flower made Gu Chan Seong a being in time, therefore he was able to dream about her past, however his dreams stoped after the part where she becomes the owner, because he is already witnessing her present which stayed the same because of her time froze (The thing is, it's just her time that stoped, so the world kept growing, with her watching everything change while being stuck in a certain time zone, so technically GCS did witness her present, because her present is the time she became the owner of the hotel and her time froze), so that is why after she went to afterlife, Gu Chan Seong saw the last time zone of Jang Man Wol's life, the future, because her future can only be seen if she moves on from the present, so in the dream he had a glimpse of how in the future everyone will reincarnate and be happy and how they will fall in love again.

I am amazed at how I am brought to tears every time I hear it (and I play it on repeat), without understanding the Korean language. One of the best produced songs I've heard in years, and Punch perfectly connects with all of the emotional strains of the lyrics and musical movements. A true rarity in this era.

Before I watch Goblin or Hotel Del Luna (or any reputable Drama. you can simply found on internet) what I do is: 1)Let the whole episode being aired 2)Don’t watch yet 3)Listen to their top OST 4)You will feel nothing 5)Watch the whole drama until the last episode 6)Listen back to same OST. I bet you will the different in emotion and the atmosphere, like you feel sad and happy at the same time. Feel like want to cry but the tears didn’t fell off. It’s the best feeling ever.
This song and Taeyeon's song are my most fav osts for this drama. Love 'em so much. Taeyeon's song feels like it's about Man Wol and Chun Myung while this song is about Man Wol and Chan Sung. Tbh, at this rate, i want a satisfying ending rather than a rushed happy ending because everything up to this point has been so satisfying and perfect. This song always hits me in the heart and idek what she's saying T.T it's just so well made. Everytime it plays in the drama I feel my heart skip a beat. It feels like the world is ending and your watching everything fall apart around you. But also that you're realizing somewhere deep within that everything will be fine because while it's ending, nothing ever REALLY ends. And maybe you'll finally be at peace. You should be scared but you watch with a feeling of serenity, exhaling deeply and closing your eyes as you too are brought to the final seconds of your existence.

So in the end her time will flow again, but im pretty sure they already established that's she's a spirit. Anyway i kinda like if its a sad ending. Imo it will be more memorable that way at least for me.

1)Let the whole episode being aired
2)Don’t watch yet
3)Listen to their top OST
4)You will feel nothing
5)Watch the whole drama until the last episode
6)Listen back to same OST.
I bet you will the different in emotion and the atmosphere, like you feel sad and happy at the same time. Feel like want to cry but the tears didn’t fell off. It’s the best feeling ever.

This song and Taeyeon's song are my most fav osts for this drama. Love 'em so much. Taeyeon's song feels like it's about Man Wol and Chun Myung while this song is about Man Wol and Chan Sung. Tbh, at this rate, i want a satisfying ending rather than a rushed happy ending because everything up to this point has been so satisfying and perfect. (even though i might be sad for a a whole month if the ending is a tragic one, just like i did after the end of Scarlet Heart and Princess Weiyoung. & i still cry whenever i heard the osts for both dramas lol)

@@tir4814 if thats the case chan seong will have to die. The only way they can make it a happy ending is to make man wol turn out to be a human who's time has stopped instead of a being a spirit. So in the end her time will flow again, but im pretty sure they already established that's she's a spirit. Anyway i kinda like if its a sad ending. Imo it will be more memorable that way at least for me.
