It's a reunion for the cameras. This is for *us,* not them. They aren't doing this for their own enjoyment. They're getting paid to be there. They see each other privately all the time. But we don't get to see them everyday, so this 25th anniversary celebration is a reunion for us. And it's probably the last one we'll ever get. The 25th anniversary of Spongebob may be in fact the last time the original cast ever does this. It doesn't seem like they will go to these lengths to promote and celebrate the 30th anniversary, and so on. So this is it. And the cast isn't particularly young anymore either. So they may not want to do all of this for the 30th and beyond. And if we're being honest, not to be grim, the 50th anniversary of Spongebob in 2049 will look very different. Just like when The Wizard of Oz had their 50th anniversary in 1989. None of the original cast was still around to celebrate it. So enjoy this now, because we may not have this for the 50th.
This is so cool to see all of my favorite actors. Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Mr. Lawrence, and Carolyn Lawrence. Thank you for making SpongeBob the best American series in the world.
SpongeBob was truly such a defining show for me. I still have a faded SpongeBob poster up in my room that's been hanging there for almost 2 decades. I had SpongeBob video games, tvs, pillows, you name it. Hell when the first SpongeBob movie came out my mom rented out a whole theatre room just for my birthday party. I am glad to have grown up with this show. Thank you all for the memories.
It makes me sad seeing them all old now. But its also beautiful that they've had such a close kinship for the past 25 years. Who else can say that their co-workers are their best friends for 25 years?
The voice work is usually done early in the process so they probably don’t see each other so often. The show is 25, but has only 15 seasons. It’s not annually produced like Simpsons or Family Guy. Productions of seasons tend to leak into each other. Like, some episodes might just be split to just start the next season. I think they did that with seasons 14 & 15.
It's sad, Clancy Brown had some of the scariest villains in the 90s and just to think the voice of Mr Krabs is the only thing making him any money nowadays
He still acts on film. He’s in almost every new show that’s out. Especially superhero related things. Detroit Become Human, Gen V/The Boys, The Penguin, Marvel What If, Invincible, etc. He’s probably the only one besides Tom making THE MOST money. Edit: Lots of Star Wars projects as well.
It's sad that you think that. He just finished The Penguin series on Netflix, a few movies, has a few movies in production as we speak, voices many characters in other shows and video games. He's still steadily working at 65.
I know it’s really not the same without Stephen Hillenberg after he passed away from that disease if he was there right now still alive he would probably be eating with the cast of SpongeBob
But Stephen Hillenberg left Spongebob after the first movie, and hadn't been involved with the series from that point forward, until his passing. So even if Stephen was alive, he probably wouldn't have been a part of the 25th anniversary celebration. Maybe for old times sake. But he wouldn't make anything new.
Reunite? The show isn't over, they still record together in the studio unlike some shows so this is just another Tuesday for them
who knows tho they’re getting older everyday 😢

It's probably the other way around..given they are people and their characters are fictoonal
Not lowkey, they just do.
Mr Lawrence is one of my favorite voice actors also it’s funny when he says MY LEGGGG 🤣!

It's definitely a trip to see Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton all hanging out together, getting along.
2:54 Actually No Free Rides Mrs. Puff basically did that 😆
EXTRA CCCRREEEEDDDDIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!!!
(You totally played that in your head)
I love Mr. Lawrence, he's my favorite of the SB cast

How is this considered a reunion if the show is still ongoing and the entire cast still works together?
Exactly my first thought
The show hasn’t been making a lot of episodes lately but that doesn’t stop it from being on the air
They probably dont record lines together so they might not be seeing each other often.
@@Jinaria101 Actually S14 and S15 have been going smoothly. I wouldn't know about the making of it all though.

They gotta release the recordings!
The cast need their own comedy show! 💛
Its called Spongebob Squarepants
i just heard bill say the s word, sailor mouth is back 4:26
Real.
I love Mr Lawrence he’s an inspiration for me since he does a lot of the work I hope to be able to do one day and I just think he’s really cool
I heavily agree
I had no idea he was the voice of Plankton until the end. He has a relatively high pitched speaking voice to be voicing such a deep voiced character
It's sad, Clancy Brown had some of the scariest villains in the 90s and just to think the voice of Mr Krabs is the only thing making him any money nowadays

What is funnier than 24😂
They been uniting continually.

SPONGEBOBBBB😮
I know it’s really not the same without Stephen Hillenberg after he passed away from that disease if he was there right now still alive he would probably be eating with the cast of SpongeBob
Best cast reunion ever😭
This ain't the same without Stephen Hillenburg
True but its fine
But Stephen Hillenberg left Spongebob after the first movie, and hadn't been involved with the series from that point forward, until his passing. So even if Stephen was alive, he probably wouldn't have been a part of the 25th anniversary celebration. Maybe for old times sake. But he wouldn't make anything new.
"You'll never hear Clancy's sailor mouth" just play Detroit Become Human, you'll hear it plenty there 😂
Steven Hillenburg is missed everyday.
This should have more views and it will
Ha! I was right and it has been officially confirmed! @4:20
Mr. Lawrence's check muscles are ripped from the plankton voice
That “25” absolutely killed me 😂
I love Patrick but i did grow up watching Coach with my parents. He's also always Dobber.
I KNEW AS A KID THEY SAID BAD WORDS! 🫣 I JUST KNEW IT! Felt too real in that episode 🤣 was too believable to not have been physically said
All I wanna know is how the voice of Plankton feels about the metal music of Boi What 😂

2:26 taken over?
But didn't Hillenburg say SpongeBob never gets his license 2:47
I love SpongeBob SquarePants!💛💛😍😍
Yeah me to 😉😉
Same!!!!!
It’s crazy this shows been going on since I was barely a 1 years old lol I’m 26
Mr Lawrence is goated
2:49 that would be a terrible ending
Are they continuing more series of Spongebob?
It's still ongoing so the reunion thing is a lie
Oh perfect!
Yes SpongeBob is still ongoing, currently it is on Season 15.

He was imitating the hypothetical person in front of him at the ATM
I followed Clancy Brown on Facebook, and befriended Carolyn Lawrence as well.
