Cooling mod for AC 2 Litre engine.
While waiting for my new crankshaft, I tried out a small modification to the cooling system for my 1949 AC 2 Litre Saloon. This was done without drilling any new holes.

You could solder the pipe to the clips to prevent vibration.

I like your hat. Lovely Blackbird singing at one point. The tube is friction clamped, might it vibrate loose? But i guess would not really matter, can't move far as its contained in the water jacket and still serve its purpose.

Yes, I'll have to be careful that it can't shake loose. My hat prevents migraines in the sunshine :)

I wonder if that copper tubing will quickly warm up due to it's thermal conductivity thus warming the water within it.

It'll be insulated from the block itself. As long as water flows, it should stay cool enough.
