ENTJs are more urgent about getting things done.
ESTPs do not show off as loudly as ENTJs.
    ENTJs are stereotypically very macho.
ENTJs admire the Bo Jacksons, Mickey Mantles, and Madonnas of the world.
ENTJs have a lot of love and respect for badass people.
    ESTPs have repressed emotions.
ENTJs' emotions spill out like crazy sometimes.
Third function Fe results in ESTPs being very talkative and friendly.
ESTPs enjoy learning for the sake of learning.
ENTJs only want to obtain information that will help them achieve a goal.

As an INTP it's trippy how I relate to the TPs and the NTs almost equally but at different times. Nii's mental models thing reminds me of my own obsession with memetics and/or epistemology. And the TP's discussion of power dynamics and authority (Anarchist theory, really) resonates strongly as well.

Being an Infj, I feel I can improvise very well, but than everyting must be orderly and wel organized, and as long as I have all the information I need, and feel up to the task🤣 very on the moment, maar niet heus😅 but I have an estp son amd and entj son. When younger their behaviour looked one and the same. But getting older they are puzzeld sometimes about there differences. Estp is adhd and the entj add both are doing very well and they are in a business together, and because of there differences both do what they do best. Estp does all the money and the growing of the business and the other organizes al the werk and does the schedules makes sure the work is done in time and high quality! They are sometimes irritated with eachothers functions, like the estp doing to much and forgetting appointments. And the entj being to unchangeble wanting things done his supreme way. But in the end it still works out. Really nice to see other entj and estp

This was such an interesting panel! Kat sounds like my late ENTJ father when she talks, I was very delighted.
Adjectives that were used to describe my ENTJ dad when he was still alive:
    -intense
    -intentional
    -intimidating
-solar-powered (?? sorry it's hard to translate to English)
    -restless??
He used to be an agricultural technician//engineer and would get his best ideas while in the middle of tilling the soil under the sun and taking care of the farm. He had so many JOURNALS.
So much learned through this panel, thank you again, Joyce! :D

This was a very intriguing conversation to listen in on. I've been trying to figure out the difference between Se and Te since it's been mentioned many times that they appear very similarly. Their action-orientedness is very hard to distingush without diving deeper into the cognition behind the action. There were so many interesting points in the discussion that it would be too difficult (and long-winded 😅) for me to note them all in writing. I learned a lot from what you all had to say. I really disagree with time estimation, which is basically... one of my kryptonites. I at times don't like too much structure just because I can't figure everything into the right time-frame. Things are so off that things I think will take 5 minutes take at least half an hour or more. It just doesn't work because the task needs to be done in it's entirety, and that is going to take however long it's going to take. But also, I value structure in my day to get things done, and boy am I not going to cram 8 hours into 2 (I do think that's lazy). I just don't... always value deadlines because things take how long they take.

Btw, I wonder how you coordinate type talks with other people. Like event organizing, but you pick out the stage panelists... Like, suppose you wanted just one of each NT type, in an NT group video or something, how do you 1) pick out the people, cycling between your rolodex, but only getting one person from each type on for that "chair slot" and 2) how do you deal with people not showing up? (is there a backup panelist system? Like, in case person C doesn't show up, i have C1 to replace them)
In essence, what is your event planning workflow for these vids? (extra: And what are the most beneficial pivot-jump-tweak-upgrades that you've made since starting that contribute to the current quality of these vids?)

    • @JoyceMeng22
      @JoyceMeng22  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Good question, @BurgerSandwich! I pick people based on their availability and if it's just a single participant representing their type I try my best to vet them beforehand. When someone does not show up, I message them again and try to find a replacement or I end up changing the video topic. There's no back up panelist system. All in all, that's my event planning process! :)
