Nothing that Ben can’t do. Looking forward to this build. My brother has a 65 FB in bad shape also.

First time watcher here. I thought the 65 that my brother and I recently undertook was bad because the frame extensions were a little swiss cheesed and the floorboards had holes. It will be interesting to watch the process unfold. Can't wait to see this one come together.

Ben I have to laugh, I have this vision of someone (you?) sitting in that shell as is and saying yes, it has manual windshield wipers you just pull them across the air windshield with your free hand like so. And, yes well, absent the motor it costs a lot less, right? Without a floor anymore it's easy to use your feet to give her a good push! I'm laughing with you btw because I can still see the beautiful car it was, hiding in what's left. Your wonderful work is one more assurance these great cars wont die. My dad talked me out of a $800 67 Fastback (rusty) but certifiable back in the day. Our mechanic and dad telling 18 yr old me how it might crack in half for all they knew. I know when I finally do get a 67 I may have to pay more than what dad paid for his house, God rest his soul.

Can’t wait and judging by what you’ve done in the past this will be a nice shell once you’re done with it.

Excited about this one! I have a 66 coupe i need to do some floors and a frame rail on and I'm hoping to get some tips and measurements maybe especially with that front frame rail!

Not crazy! Anytime I see one of these cars, no matter what the shape, I see the finished car. I bought a 66 FB here in Hawaii (real hard to come by) mainly for the title and VIN. the only parts salvaged was the glass, front roof brace and the part of the front apron with the VIN. Shipping to here is $$$.

Look at the bright side. It has great wiper arms.

Would an example like this be done easier with a Dynacorn full shell then take the couple of pieces off the donor and transfer, as well as the title?

You've got serious skill brother. To be honest so much of the car gets replaced it appears to me that the car is only 15% original and the rest is newly purchased. How much engine do you put in?

Wow, man if it was media blasted I could imagine what would be left out of it...
Good way to stay busy...Gotta give you some credit, if there were 250 cloned, Detroit may have never fallen...
Damn shame companies are so greedy, and don't continue the old school methods of work,
Economy would of had less problems if the never cut corners

About 11 years ago the guy living next door said he had a gutted 69 Fastback body for sale( with a good title)that all the body work was done and that he would sell it to me for 200 dollars. I told him that I would buy it but when he got it to his house the Whole Floor of the car was Rotten. I asked him why it was that bad and that NOW I wasn’t interested in it I was told it was because it’s been sitting on the ground in a Field for YEARS. The guy seemed to get a little upset because I didn’t want to but it then. I believe he had it hauled off to a junk Yard.Very Sad ending for that car.

The money you would have to spend to fix that up will be more than what a reproduction dynacorn 65 Mustang body shell would cost.
