a few years ago, my mom and i got Breath of the Wild for my dad. we didn't know just how much he'd love it, but he played that game for endless hours. i helped him the first time we beat each of the divine beasts and the first few times we beat Ganon, and then he beat them all by himself, many times over! i was so proud of him. i still remember coming home and hearing that music, and knowing he'd be gathering ingredients and bugs for all sorts of food. i think the cooking and shooting monsters was his favorite part. he liked to go to the flight range to stock up on arrows. that part of the soundtrack always makes me cry now. i'm mentioning his favorite things because he's not here to do so anymore. i have a copy of the game myself, but i've never finished it. we still have his save file. it sits untouched in the switch we bought him, like his profile and his mii - a remake from his favorite on the wii. when i get Tears of the Kingdom, it won't just be for me. it'll be for him, in his memory, and because we promised to play it together. and we will - i have an urn necklace that i'll make sure to wear when i play this game so he can, in a way, experience it too. i wanna make it clear: this is not for the giveaway. that'd be cool and all, but i just wanted to express my love for that game and the now bittersweet memories of sitting in front of the tv with my dad.
I'm so sorry, I just don't know what else can I say. I miss my dad too, we watched action movies together, even the very old ones, with Bruce Lee. I hope you can play the new game in the necklace, and feel warm in heart, I'm sure he'd love it and he's watching over you from above. I am sending you lots of positive thoughts and warm. Be strong.
@@MayAskortt that's really kind of you, thank you. i'm sure wherever he is he'll enjoy this new game too. we watched movies like that together too, but he was partial to really old westerns. it's been a little over a year, so it's more like an ache than a sharp stab wound, but that wound will always be there. such is the nature of love.
You have such a beautiful memory of your dad. I don't know how long ago your dad left this world but I want to give my condolences. It's good to have fond memories of our loved ones. I lost my dad not too long ago and doing the things he loved would surely remind me of him. Edit: I just read it was over a year ago. I want to give my condolences nonetheless.
Tears of the Kingdom hype 🤩 thank you to Nintendo of Canada for putting together this amazing Legend of Zelda prize pack for my community! I'll be choosing one lucky winner on February 24, 2023. Please leave your Twitter or IG in your comment so I can dm you on how to claim your prize!! Thank you friends 🤍🤍
My favorite moment in Tears of the kingdom is the opening when Link dive. Something about revealing the world from top, kinda like the opening from breath of the wild once you get out. Its just magical and so immersive.
I have too many favorite parts of BOTW but I guess in a general sense, being able to explore around and find ways to play that suited my casual proficiency really got me back into gaming as an adult and led me to explore new genres. My fav part of the new trailer is that last scene, I can’t wait for the story to unfold!
Favourite moment in BOTW - having to solve puzzles in the real world outside of the shrines Favourite moment in the trailer - how much it reminded me of skyward sword, my favourite zelda game.
I've never played that game but I do want too! My favorite part would have to be exploring or getting a horse since I love them. I'm sure its like a whole other world.
It's hard to pick a favorite part! My husband played BOTW and I got to watch the whole story unfold. I think my favorite part is the music. It's so beautiful and calming. ❤️
Very excited for tears of the kingdom as well! My favorite moment was Link riding the 'car' honestly all the new vehicles look super fun to play with! Looking forward to more content from you :)
my favourite moment was easily finally beating thunderblight ganon as he was the last one I faced and easily multiple magnitudes harder than it was facing any of the others.
I am looking forward to playing with my two children. They love watching me running around as Link in Breath of the wild and are as psyched as I am, if not more 😂
my favorite part of botw was of course exploring, I loved gathering ingredients and cooking different meals! I am so excited for totk and seeing what new foods will be added. thank you for this opportunity ♡
Breath of the Wild was one of the first game I played on the switch and one of my favorite moments was when I saw my first dragon, it was Naydra. It was unexpected and I was completely in awe💕
My favourite moment from breath of the wild was discovering lurelin village. I was following the sheikah sensor to a shrine and suddenly there was a cute little tropical fishing town. It's my favourite town in botw
My favorite part of Breath of the wild was exploring the world. I suffer from bad anxiety and panic attacks and breath of the wild helped me relax and get out of my head. Thank you for the giveaway!
My favorite moments were the vehicles in the trailer lol. Make me feel like we’ll be able to mess around with side crafting a bit or putting stuff together lol.
My favourite part of the Tears of the Kingdom trailer was seeing old enemies return. Re-Dead’s truly terrified me as a young girl playing. Majora’s Mask. Also seeing new challenges in all areas of the map to explore. Ironically this also comes out about a week before my birthday on the 23rd. 🎉😊
Oh man, breath of the wild brings me back to high school. It's a year before I graduate so my junior year. My best friend and I were super excited for the switch and botw. We pre ordered the console and the game and saved up our money from our crummy grocery store job to get them. I remember release day for the switch and botw we could not wait for the school day to be over. His mom was cool enough to pick up that day I remember the final bell rang and we bolted our of the school to go to GameStop. We go to gamestop and pick up everything still super excited. I remember coming up putting my new Nintendo switch with the Zelda game I've been waiting 5 years on my bed. I couldn't believe it I got this on release day with my money. I set the switch up and pop in the game. The memory of walking out the shrine of Resurrection and link standing on the cliff with the music and just see the big world I am about to explore really put a tear to my eye. I said to myself I've waited so long for this moment and I am finally here. Let's just say addiction started I play the game non stop for 2 weeks like I even would bring it to school and play it in class (after I finished my work of course) I remember me and my best friend just sharing different stores how we did certain tasks in the game a creative way we got to certain areas which really showed me how truly amazing this game is. No one person will have the same experience in breath of the wild and that truly makes this game special and one of a kind. I hope that tears of the kingdom keep that magic that I once experienced 6 years ago as a 17 year old, now that I am 23 and a year out of college. Anyway here is my twitter username kat @Reverb178 I kinda forgot I typed this for giveaway for a sec that's how much this game means to me lol and thank you for your time and good luck to everyone
My favorite part of botw was Trial of the Sword, it was fun, challenging and you had to figure out a plan for each area fast. Can't wait to finally get my hands on TotK
I got to play Breath of the Wild when my brother let me borrow his game. It's so easy to lose track of time with this game. The visuals are stunning to say the least but my favorite part of the game, besides exploring the large world map, is uncovering the memories of Link's past.
I am so so so excited for Tears of the kingdom. My favorite parts of breath of the wild was being able to tame the horses and figuring out all the puzzles. I grew up playing Zelda and was the first game I played when I started gaming. Thanks for sharing love watching all your videos!!
I am looking forward to exploring hunting and it’s just such a beautiful and amazing world I was crying 😭 ❤seeing this new trailer and see what kids of items will be getting new it’s only a few months away ❤
The vehicles looked so interesting in the trailer! I can’t wait to see what happens with the game. I just got botw recently. I didn’t realize fashion dreamer came out on my birthday! I’ll definitely be picking that up on launch lol. I’m also excited for fantasy life. I got a 3ds at the end of last year and I’ve just started collecting games.
I’m so happy to see you uploading again love you and your videos and you inspired me to get back into my causal gaming ❤ aaanndd… I’ve never played Zelda but I kind of want the new one
I loved getting all the quests leading up to the wedding ceremony. No idea why!😅 I just remember being so excited to do all those quests and not being able to sleep!🫣
I've never played a fantasy life game but this new one looks really fun! And my favorite thing from BOTW was exploring to unlock more sections of the map and hunting down the shrines and hidden places/goodies😁 SO EXCITED!!
What I hate about most cozy games is that they aren’t cozy at all, because of the visuals. Most cozy games visuals are not bright, but rather dark. They have no sunshine and use rather dark colors. Even tho they have great maps and story lines, the visuals ruin everything. That is why it’s so hard to find a decent cozy game. And that is also why people are patiently waiting for Puffpals Island Skies. Finally a game with real cozy vibes. Next to Animal Crossing. People honestly just want a cozy kind of “daily life” game with great visuals. With some quests. Like a mix of Zelda and animal crossing, with great visuals like Puffpals Island Skies.
I know your page is mainly nintendo but what do you think about the new Hogswarts Legacy game? It’s really good actually and fun to explore. Are you hyped it’s coming to the switch?
Ryza looks good! I loved exploring and doing the puzzle shrines most in BOTW, particularly loved the twin peaks' twin shrine, love what they did there, they're the ones that I remember best haha Also love the Zelda Memories ^^
I think my favourite moment from BotW is tied. One is the cutscene right before you fight Calamity Ganon where all the previous champions got to play their part... It just got me so hyped when they all had their say, and the animation for it was just asgjdhsj (I'm being vague in case this is a spoiler for some) My other favourite was the ending scene (true ending) ...I was just so happy. @SpackleFritz
I just started playing botw myself, but I've seen my boyfriend played it from start to finish and definitely my favorites are the koroks and the taming of the horses and how we spent a few good minutes trying to figure out some sanctuaries :) @Nov04H
100% excited about Tears of the Kingdom ofc!! Been a legend of zelda fan since day 1 as you know But I do enjoy the cooking aspect they added in BOTW lol, hopefully, they have more recipes in the new one! @glennymah

My favorite moment in BotW was meeting Hestu... seconded by every other interaction with Hestu because he's the cutest.
Fantasy Life is the most exciting news as far as I'm concerned. Loved the DS version.
My favourite moment in Breath of the Wild was exploring the world and collecting the memories. One of my favourite villages is Kakariko Village!
My favorite moments were finding all the little hidden secrets and puzzles off the beaten path!
I loved exploring the most. Finding creative ways to obstacles and the cute korok.
My favorite of BOTW was being able to explore such a pretty world and the ways the skies looked in that world! Everything was so gorgeous in that game
My favorite moment in Tears of the kingdom is the opening when Link dive. Something about revealing the world from top, kinda like the opening from breath of the wild once you get out. Its just magical and so immersive.

I asked for Zelda as a Mother’s Day gift lol
Just discovered your channel. Thanks for giving us more games to look forward to in early ‘23

First comment 🙃
Hi 💖💖💖
Breath of the wild felt empty and frankly boring, let’s see the 2nd one
My favorite was meeting Hestu! Or maybe just climbing high and then gliding as far as I could. It's all the simple things, I guess! @gepunktetblumen
Building Terry Town by far is my coziest quest @listlesswitch
I think my favourite moment from BotW is tied. One is the cutscene right before you fight Calamity Ganon where all the previous champions got to play their part... It just got me so hyped when they all had their say, and the animation for it was just asgjdhsj (I'm being vague in case this is a spoiler for some)
My other favourite was the ending scene (true ending) ...I was just so happy.
@SpackleFritz
my favorite moment in the trailer is when link jumps to save Zelda 🥺
@AngelDelta27
I just started playing botw myself, but I've seen my boyfriend played it from start to finish and definitely my favorites are the koroks and the taming of the horses and how we spent a few good minutes trying to figure out some sanctuaries :) @Nov04H
Tears of the kingdom is a need! I loved the original BOTW and even did a complete randomizer run! @Keizus_
@travelsofkris 🙂🙂🙂
my favorite part of breath of the wild was mipha’s cutscene after freeing her divine beats. makes me cry every time. @ xtianarami
Honestly I haven’t even finished BOTW but I am so ready for this new sheikah .. arm lol and the cute bokoblins 😂 .. @angeliquecvl
100% excited about Tears of the Kingdom ofc!! Been a legend of zelda fan since day 1 as you know But I do enjoy the cooking aspect they added in BOTW lol, hopefully, they have more recipes in the new one! @glennymah
