Coyote Tango is in the Pacific Rim movie. It was the Jeager that took down that crab Kaiju, (that I don't know how pronounce its name) that was chasing Mako when she was young. Marshall piloted Coyote Tango, by himself.
Coyote Tango was re-designed after penecost defeated Onibaba (angry crab thing) and retired. A year later, the Grevin brothers took over Coyote Tango and Tango became an American Jaeger.
I hope they are going to make figures for the Jaegers that appeared in the intro , i think they were 3 : Horizon Brave , Tactic Ronin and Romeo Blue they were also badass too bad they didn't got that much action
Neca already said on twitter that we won't have Horizon Brave, but said nothing about Romeo Blue and Tacit Ronin, so we still have hope! i really want those 2 Jaegers
***** yeah, Neca said earlier this year that they WON'T make Horizon Brave, but after Toy Fair (and after I posted that comment) they said that they won't make Horizon Brave at least this year
I do wish they showed this mech more in the movie. I'm also curious as to why it has USAF on it's body. Maybe someone will ask NECA on Twitter or something, they usually reply to a lot of questions.
Maybe it was build by the US goverment but given to Japan? I don't know but in the concept art it has the 34 number in the shoulders, USAF in the chest and US-2A in the forearms, so NECA just follow the concept art
Coyote Tango is a US jaeger but stationed in Japan. (just like the real US army) After the Tokyo incident she was put into repair for a year and was reassigned with Japanese pilots. The real Japanese jaegers are: Tacit Ronin and Echo Saber.
I actually don't know why but I prefer Scunner, I feel that if they made a Slattern it would either not be in scale with the other figures or be hella expensive.
i dont know if coyote tango is an official jaeger in the movie or a concept but if he is a concept figure i really hope they make azure defiant concept jaeger
Daryl Dixon yes and when coyote tango's pilots were exposed to radiation the PPDC decided to find new pilots and it was destroyed on their 4th Kaiju kill and confirmed the pilots death
Sc4r1f Tr0op3r H4x3d No. Stacker Pentecost was the original pilot, but due to the nuclear radiation exposure from the reactor, Coyote Tango was retired. Then it was recomissioned and new pilots were assigned to Coyote Tango. These new pilots were rookies, so Coyote Tango was destroyed by them because they were inexperienced.
Gojira 2002 Coyote Tango, like everyone else, must be flown by two pilots, but that jaeger is the only that can be flown by one single person leaving unharmed from the neural bridge;)
To think he was going to be a main Jaeger. I think del Toro made a huge mistake scrapping him save from Mako's flashback scene. One can hope that in Pacific Rim 2, Coyote (or a new version, seeing as he was destroyed at St.Lawrence Island) will make an appearance
Reckless Redcoat Well, Tango's fate is a known inconsistency. Some sources say he was destroyed, while others say he was retired because of the danger of the nuclear reactor.
ZetaKrysle Platinum Ver. It's actually Guardian Bravo piloted by Karan Brar (Suresh is the new movie). They look very similar. Guardian Bravo is basically a dark red and white Mark 6 Coyote Tango.
That's so weird. Looking at more images, the USAF and the #34 on the shoulders do NOT show up on images from Pacific Rim. I think they just messed up and that's kind of disappointing.
I wouldn't say they messed up, as there aren't many official images of this guy. It's not even all that noticeable, and overall not very disappointing at ALL. And who knows? You don't really see it during the movie, and the CGI models aren't available to public(as far as I know). And no, the promotional poster of him isn't the CGI model.
Hey bro if this Jager is from Japan it actually does make sense to say USAF. After World War II Japan's army was disbanded. They technically only have a national self defense force but not a real "army." The united states has several naval and airforce bases on and around Japan to protect them. It would make sense for Coyote to be built there but to be operated out of a United States Air Base.
Great Review! Though i'll not pick this guy up unfortunately :( I was super stoked when it was announced way back when but i just can't commit to buying this guy with so little articulation :/ Though what really bothers me the most about the pacific rim figures is that a lot of the articulation problems seem soooo easily fixable design-wise. Like if they just moved the shoulders of gypsy danger outward just a pinch it would of allowed a lot more movement or if they had just given gypsy normal toe articulation or if they had just shaved off a bit of the armor on his thighs etc. For tango, if they had just shaved off the armor on his elbows he could of at least bent his arms 90 degrees. I know they are going for screen accuracy but just little changes like these on the design could of done sooooo much for the quality of articulation and not detract that much from the screen accuracy.
hey sharts! are you going to get the figma Indiana Jones figure to review? Hope you do looks bad ass. Also and more importantly How bad ass would it be if figma made a Clint eastwood figure from the "man with no name" spaghetti western movies!!! I just saw A Fist Full of Dollars today and just kept thinking that he would translate perfectly into figure form! especially figma! If this isn't being made you need to do something with your internet powers!
This Is the list of my favorite jeagers 6.brawler Yukon 5.coyote tango 4.cherno alpha 3.crimson typhoon 2.striker eurika 1.gipsy danger Bonus 0.my made up jeager arctic racer
What I liked about the movie each jaeger has special weapons if I was to design a jaeger I would design one with a spinning buzz saw in the center of chest so it’s special attack would be to charge at a kaiju and jump causing its spinning blade to impale a kaiju killing it instantly with its spinning chest saw lol
It's in the flashback, the one Marshal Pentecost pilots to kill Onibaba(and save Mako as a child). I wouldn't blame you for missing it though, it's basically nothing but a silhouette in the movie.
Coyote Tango was built from U.S. but launched in Japan. So they own this Japanese Jeager, and this looks badass, mounted Mortar cannon. Love it
The USAF stuff is to honor Stacker's sister who was a fighter jet pilot, she was killed by the first Kiju.
The one we saw getting destroyed by the kaiju that was attacking the bridge?
@@wacky_duck1095 probably but that sounded like a guy so she could of been killed in the 6 days it took to kill trespasser
Probably because the gun was the only available option for weapon in that time@@TransformersRule
Now we need an Onibaba for Coyote to deep fry and serve with butter.
Ya
With a side of radiation poisoned Edris Elba
I'd rather have it boiled with butter side with salad
Mmmmm, buttered onibaba
Tango was a US Jaeger. The games say that as well. The Jaeger program started out more Joint Forces Style, with Jaegers serving overseas.
Created in US, but stationed in Japan
the folks who made these toys seemed to really go all out. awesome!
the jeager most badass in my opinion
same me too!
@@cameronveivers5419me too
I watch the movie like every night.
Tystarr2k2 Still watch it every night?
LOL YES
Dillon Cookson lucky

Mr Pacific Rim Onibaba

You got everything right except for him being redesigned and him becoming a american jaeger
He wasn’t redesigned his nuclear reactor was redesigned not the whole mech and he still remained a Japanese jeager just with America pilots
I know this is an old Video but I like watching Your Pacific Rim Neca Figure reviews!
Coyote tango was the second Japanese jaeger build but was given to the Americans
Coyote Tango... the Bruticus of Pacific Rim.
Oh yeah
Put them side by side
You can see the two cannons
Pretty nice to point that out

reminds me of the gun cannon from Gundam
He was inspired by the guncannon. Go to coyote tango’s wiki in the pacific rim wiki
Coyote tango was built in America, but was sent to japan to defend against the rising activity near Tokyo
Good to know that I'm not the only person that watches the movie again every time I buy a pacific rim figure xD
Coyote Tango is a US jaeger but stationed in Japan. (just like the real US army) After the Tokyo incident she was put into repair for a year and was reassigned with Japanese pilots. The real Japanese jaegers are: Tacit Ronin and Echo Saber.
that explains why the commander was in it
A US Jaeger, stationed in Japan with British pilots?
You know what would be really coo? If they did an exclusive figure for Slattern
I actually don't know why but I prefer Scunner, I feel that if they made a Slattern it would either not be in scale with the other figures or be hella expensive.
FarEastStar I agree with you
こよて たんご (COYOTE TANGO) was indeed made in Japan but he was built for the USAF to protect japan from オニババ (ONIBABA)
Wow. A whopping 5-degree elbow hinge range. SO MUCH POSABILITY!!!
Love your reviews shartimus! Keep it up!
Me too. I cant stop watching the movie. Jve seen it like 15 times at least....
i wantt to buy this one!
His face reminds me of bastion from overwatch
you are correct Onibaba was the Kaiju in Japan that chased Mako
Gonna try to get every figure of the pacific rim series
That's myy favorite
coyote tango was actually modelled after the rx-77 guncannon , so it`s not surprising that the RX-78-2 Gundam is a similar height/build
We need Brawler Yukon figure
+Dany100981 neca is making a brawler yukon
+Brenden Zatorski That's cool!
karloff and onibaba too
He looks a lot like guncannon from gundam!
Hey the review was nice and the Jaeger was used in the air force as a super weapon
Japanese and Americans work together to build it
Hi there big fan on reviews do you ever buy figures straight from china?
bad thing is that the cannons tend to be a bit bent out of the packaging, gotta use that hot water trick
She / he is My favorite Yeager also awesome review
5:45 I never knew you collected Gunpla!
Very nice, would love to see this in an 18' scale.
i dont know if coyote tango is an official jaeger in the movie or a concept but if he is a concept figure i really hope they make azure defiant concept jaeger
Coyote Tango is official, he was in the movie.
Yeah I know I loved the movie myself. Vary underrated movie from last year. It didn't do much on the box office.
yes it was
this guy's head reminds me of the Rouge Specialization from Halo 4
maybe the weird arm joint is to compensate for the poor shoulder joint.
It's a Jeager-fied Guncannon. It's a must get for me.
Hay Shartimus Prime,if you had a chance to pick your own jeager, what would you choose and why ?
Hell yeah, America!! Also how was it trashed? By a higher category kaiju?
no it was scraped because the pilots were exposed to radiation
How is he scraped up in the movie
Daryl Dixon yes and when coyote tango's pilots were exposed to radiation the PPDC decided to find new pilots and it was destroyed on their 4th Kaiju kill and confirmed the pilots death
Sc4r1f Tr0op3r H4x3d
No.
I don't know why coyote tango wasn't used any more?
I think it was because it could only hold 1 person and not 2 but I'm not sure.
Gojira 2002 Coyote Tango, like everyone else, must be flown by two pilots, but that jaeger is the only that can be flown by one single person leaving unharmed from the neural bridge;)
is their a joint under the shoulder
Who else wants an 18 inch version of it?
will neca make Tacit ronin , romeo blue and slattern?
Another great review as usual.
When are you gonna make a pacific rim acba!?

This is what I mean.
Since there is Stacker's son in the Pacific Rim 2 movie maybe we could get an updated Coyote Tango.
COYOTE DISCO
ZetaKrysle Platinum Ver.
It's actually Guardian Bravo piloted by Karan Brar (Suresh is the new movie). They look very similar. Guardian Bravo is basically a dark red and white Mark 6 Coyote Tango.
came back here to hear what you said why you like this one over the others.Same reason as mine haha
could je make a shartimus prime custom action figure that would by cool
One of my canons came off, any fixing suggestions??
Glue it
Now we need a Slattern figure :D
Coyote Tango is Japanese Jaeger along with Brawler Yukon and Tacit Ronin :”3
coyote tango was American but they sent him to Japan
3:02 hahahaha that's true
@ShartimuisPrime it has the American logos because it was built after U.S Naval ships and Cobra attack helicopters.

How much did Coyote cost, Shartimus?
All figures(retail, anyway) are around $20. Except the new Kaiju, they're around $25
Thanks for the info!
you would think japan would make the most high tech jaeger like striker eureka. but its ironic japan suffers the most from this

If they do a sequel they should use this jaeger since the gypsy danger blew up.
This one is also destroyed.
at first I thought Coyote Tango was a Mexican Jaeger funded by cartels
That's bad ass!!!
How tall is it?
what do kaijus eat ??????????
They don't need to eat, they were developed as a living weapon
stella park people
