Can I ask so for put credit spread , you don’t have to set aside money to purchase this 100 shares correct ? As we already got a safety net by buying at a lower put price. AND as for call credit spread, we don’t have to have 100 shares of the stock on hand because we got a safety net by buying at a higher call price.

What happens Sell leg in the money and Buy leg out of the money on expiration date after trading hour? This is a potential worst-case scenario I don't see anyone talking about for this strategize. When that happens you are obligated to own the 100 shares while the buy leg will expire worthless, leaving you 0 protection. You will get a margin call if you do not have enough funds to own the share. I urge you not to hold it till expiration even if it is a winning trade. Do take note trading is still active after market hours on expiration day, if the price moves against you during that time and falls right between your sell leg and buy leg, you are pretty screwed if you did not do any risk management.
its not remaining 40% but remaining 60% for the 35 days. For the limit price during closing the trade, is it considered the premium and we enter the max price under bid?

Average price is the credit you collected.
Unrealized p&l is the current value of the spread
If unrealized P&l is 50% of average price, u can close

When u open the credit spread, you will already receive the premium.
When it ends up in the money, ibkr will auto deduct the loss from your account
