As you know there is a contract, as per Housewives both still on or fired, before the season actually starts filming they have a meeting w/production and discuss the trip(s) and storylines. The Housewives have to participate in the trips unless the say at the meeting they have a legitimate reason not to. Although medical or family emergencies will not be a breach of the contract.
