This was great Mark, makes me remember the beautiful spot we hiked to to film this. I do want to note that this kettlebell could work for flipping, but it's not ideal. You can see how it doesn't spin in a balanced manner. For beginners it's highly recommended to start with a low weight (4-6kg) standard competition kettlebell. It will make the process a lot easier.
This is so cool! I think this is the use case where I'd leave my competition adjustable kettlebells on the sidelines and pick up fixed weight competition kettlebells though.
To add to the Dutchman's point about developing this sense of timing and rhythm that a musician acquires; mace/club/kbell flowing are skills proportional to strengh/endurance. It is a skill and when improved upon our brains reward center must light up in ways we are disconnected from in modernity. It is why i took up archery with an Odinson bow. Mark has commented on the creation, strengthening and reinforcement of nueral pathways and brain tissue when we exercise our proprioceptive (tracking objects in motion we cannot see) abilities. IDK - I love that you guys are buds and I highly respect both of your contributions to Internet fitness culture.
@@MarkWildman The only reason I know of Odinson and his craftsman bows are through you. You had a few of them featured in a video you published last year. 🤠
Mark gave the FDM the Midwest Bro Hug. Jeff Martone is the first guy I ever saw talk about KB juggling. Martone worked with Pavel at Dragon Door when they were all a happy, unified family. Martone is a SWAT trainer. Firearms trainer. At a RKC seminar he pressed a 48 kg KB, Pistol Squated a 48 KB and did 5 pullups with 48kg.
Great video, but no way am I going to juggle my *adjustable* KB. These adjustable bells (KB Kings, SoCal Kettlebellz, Bells of Steel Wildman edition, etc.) are awesome, but they do have a single point of failure where that threaded rod is welded to the body. If I ever drop my bell, I'd torque that weld, weakening it. Do that enough times and eventually it will give way and drop the entire load of plates (along with the bottom hemisphere of the shell) on me. Instead, I'm going to play it safe and buy a “solid” single-weight competition bell if I ever want to get into juggling.
I use a Vulcan 8kg "Training Bell." It's a steel competition bell, but doesn't have color coding (all weights have a tough dark gray finish and a bare steel handle). It also is not held to the same standard for exact weight since it's not intended to be used in competition. They are less expensive but just as ergonomic and durable as colored competition bells. Vulcan Strength.

I need to know this spot, California?🌲⛰️🌳
It's fascinating to listen to these two chat it up. I hope they continue this unique collaboration that benefits all of us.

2 awesome coaches sharing knowledge and experiences. Please keep these videos coming! Thank you for your efforts. VZ
Awesome mash-up! Two of my favorite kettlebell/club/mace masters in one video!
Bro these two!!! Hell yeah!!
Two of my favorite kettlebell, macebell and steel club masters
Why are there less than 10% thumbs up? Coach Wildman spends lots of time on these videos.
Looks like the same scenery as the one-arm mill and reverse mill. I was looking for the survey monument.
love your respective work guys.
Jappy to see you in the same video
Interesting how different the two approaches are. Yin and Yang 🏋️

I have a few bows. I gotta get my arrow making stuff out. I think I need a trip to 3 rivers archery

I learned how to juggle KB a few years ago. I never got that good but it sure was fun! 😂

Is Martone a TacFit guy?
@@CalTN Jeff Martone has a TH-cam channel called Tactical Athlete.
Tacfit is Scott Sonnon. He is a bald dude. Martial.Arts
Midwest Nice!
@@davidwagner9644Very cool. I'll check out his channel. Thanks, David.
I can practice kettlebell juggling with your videos. Thank you.
My toes drew up just watching.
You don’t wear steel-toed boots when you work out?
@@wookee159 hhhhmmmmm.... Maybe if Xero shoes were to implement this.......I'm in!
If you swing and have you stance wide with a soft ground it really doesn’t become a worry
Im falling in love with these metal blobs.
Perfect Duet !
Excellent explanations 🤝🏼
Go light go heavy do it all
love this
I think you need to design a juggling kettlebell with a mushy inside core. Good potential for business!
Jarred Michael Thomas is a juggling pro.
I like throwing around a mace and club but the bell has always intimidated me.
Maces can flip at a super weird rate. Definite requires an outdoor space
Fan of Dutchman ❤
Dont dent your floor! Use a proper mat
You're no fun 😒
Like Mom always said, "Go outside and play!"
Tractor Supply sells horse stall mats. Lay them out in the sun for three days before bringing them into the house. Problem solved.
Never mind the floor, fella nearly dented his head!
How many feet get shattered metatarsal bones from dropped kettlebells every year?

Who makes a 10kg comp that isn't pink though. I have a 14 kg i do basic juggling with but could never get the lateral flips etc with that much weight.
Titan has some funky color schemes, and you might be the only one to appreciate that
Who cares man, just train with a pink bell

Why wouldn't you want a pink one?
Stick to the pink to start with...kettlebell juggling competitors use 16kg and 20kg. Laterals will get easier with time and effort.
kb juggling is Play
Once you master a kettlebell weight , then you can play with it,
