You should branch out and try some other brand's as i did. Besides Pioneer & Carrera. My first was a Revo c5 corvette. All metal 2 part chassis. And it has the predrilled hole for the ir sensor. Was one of the top 3 slot cars of 2023. Just treated the tires and installed a slotinvasion guide kit. Keep up the videos. Just ordered the voted # 1 slot car for 2023 the Shadow.
Yep I got both those Mustang GTYs in a starter set a while ago and the rear tires were real dogs and I could not find Paul Gage or any other tires to fit them as they were too new of cars. However BobKat custom made them and suddenly they are fast after slight tuning. I didn't know that he also has fronts for them = thanks for mentioning them. Do you have his catalog number for them? My next videos for my channel will feature both the gtys in testing track timing. I just subscribed here🏁. Have a Happy New Year!

I bought the fronts for my amg 300 and Porsche 904. I dont know if he has fronts for the gty

I usually dont do anything with the front tires. The Mercedes 300 the front carrera tires would bounce. Must have been a bad batch or something 🤔
